  1. Right now a dutchman called Paul van Hooff travels from North to South America on his V7 He is in Seattle now and could use some moral support. If you want to meet him contact Moto International. And to all US members: have a nice 4th of July!!!
  2. The internet domain siol.net is registered in Ljubljana / Slovenia Do you have their URL? Maybe I can get some info.

    one step forward

It's not that common! This is actually the first time I hear that a silver engine has bubbling paint.
  5. Tom, I'm really glad you came out of this crash okay. I recently found out the hard way too that protective gear helps a lot! Good luck with your bike!
  6. Tim, just browse to your pic on your harddrive, then don't hit "Add this attachment"! If you then hit submit or preview it'll work.
  7. I started writing an answer, but Baldini already wrote it down better than I ever could:
  8. Just came off the phone with Ghezzi & Brian in Italy: they have a new front wheel in black. the last one! They discontinued the wheels because the V11 is discontinued... BTW, Barbara speaks english very well!
  9. Paul Minnaert came up with this site a while ago: Chopperflop.com They have nice t-shirts!
  10. With "factual" I mean that you stay with the facts as you perceive them and not add you're own subjective opinions. I understand that one's own perception of the facts can be/are subjective but it's one's valuation of those facts that are coloured most of the time.
  11. Rats...
  12. I think it's OK to write down your problems with a specific dealer, as long as you stay 100% factual, case specific and don't use sentences like "Dealer X in Y sucks big time" Here's a nice thread on Dealer Bashing
  13. A few weeks ago in Germany another Sachs suspension crack was found. ('02/'03 V11LM) Luckily not while riding!
  14. After building 3 Guzzi Café Racers this Dutch guy decided to build a Guzzi chopper. Although I don't like choppers in general, I can appreciate the effort put in this thing.
  15. I like it too. It's a bit like the Centauro; the more you see it, the better it looks. 2 points of criticism: Too much chrome and the muffler could be downsized a bit (read: lot)
  16. Pictures originally posted on the Anima Guzzista Forum
  17. The bruised bike and ribs didn't keep me away from visiting the Bodensee Guzzi Meeting in Germany this weekend! Here an impression from the campsite:
  18. These manuals are also in our Fileshare section!
  19. I uploaded the original picture because it wouldn't load... Welcome back TX!
  20. I guess you mean the mirrors on my bike. Universal parts available at many Jap bike stores in Holland (brand: Booster) They're absolutely worthless, btw
  21. This is so cool! I picked up this Öhlins fork in South Germany in Jan 2004 from a guy who converted his Café Sport to hold a sidecar. I sold it to Mike and now David has it.

Wanted to visit TLM and the Boxmeer meeting... small curvy dike road, high dike... this is the result... Bruised rib, cut in finger, no serious bike parts destroyed... Oh well, shit happens when you ride a dike!
