Well done! And welcome to the board!
Just one thing: Do you have factory warranty? I don't know how this goes in the US, but here you loose factory warranty if you do the first maintenances yourself...
Hi Carl,
I'm already bidding on some items; I'll bid for the wiring harness as well. If I win it, we'll work out details later. PM me your highest bid.
The name Groesbeek probably derives from Groessbeck (german/dutch dialect for "big brook")
100% chance the town in TX is named after Groesbeek in The Netherlands.
After 60 years (!) the Dutch government finally allowed Polish veterans to participate. The Cold War made that impossible. They also played a big part in liberating Holland.
This year is the last year the surviving Canadian veterans are coming over to participate. After exactly 60 years there aren't many left and for the remaining few the trip is too tiring.
AV Moto in Germany produces this IMO very ugly seat and tailpiece for the V11. It's about 10 cm smaller than the original and they produce it on demand.
Price: ???
Looks great! Well done
The Café Sport/Ballabio/Coppa-Italia fairing are mounted completely different from the Scura's. So mounting points are likely to be different.
A new original Scura fairing will set you down about € 300,-
For removing small roadkill: Most of the times the cheapest solution is the best solution; After every ride dip a cloth in water (I use rainwater; leaves no stains) and cover the dirty parts. After 15 minutes of soaking you can wipe off the bugs with the same cloth. Works great with helmet visors too.
For road grime, brake dust, etc, I use S100 bike cleaner.
Brian, too bad but understandable. Have fun with the R1, and don't be a stranger!
BTW, now that Enzo has vanished from this board, I had somewhat expected your move.... you probably will kick some new butt on the R1 board.
