  1. Martin, I don't think anyone can and will object to a link to a site that tells us something about you and your family. It's an eye-opener. Don't worry about posting it. Oh, and tell your wife her site has a very professional look and feel!!

    nice V11´s

The front fender looks like an original Scura fender that was cut to fit the Marzocchi fork. Some brackets were made to attach.

    Dog Love

Dave, sorry to hear of your loss. Never having owned a dog, I can't imagine how it you must feel.
  4. Because the classifieds disappear after 60 days, I set it it to "no reply"
  5. Nice bikes!
  6. Søren, the link does not go directly to your pics, could you renew the link, please?
  7. Next book on my reading list is Ghost Rider, by Neil Peart. He's the drummer of my favourite (canadian) rockband Rush. Synopsis: In less than a year, Neil Peart lost both his 19-year-old daughter, Selena, and his wife, Jackie. Faced with overwhelming sadness and isolated from the world in his home on the lake, Peart was left without direction. This memoir tells of the sense of loss and directionlessness that led him on a 55,000-mile journey by motorcycle across much of North America, down through Mexico to Belize, and back again. He had needed to get away, but had not really needed a destination. His travel adventures chronicle his personal odyssey and include stories of ... He also wrote: The Masked Rider: Cycling In West Africa Dysentery, drunken soldiers, and corrupt officials provide the background for Neil Peart's physical and spiritual cycling journey through West Africa. The prolific drummer for the rock band Rush travels through African villages, both large and small, and relates his story through photographs, journal entries, and tales of adventure, while simultaneously addressing issues such as differences in culture, psychology, and labels. Literary and artistic sidekicks such as Aristotle, Dante, and Van Gogh join Peart and his cycling companions, remin ...
  8. You practice it here and so do I...
  9. Antonio, some people prefer convenience over looks. In fact we all do, otherwise we all would date/marry supermodels.
  10. Order me a pair in 3XL
  11. To bring your HD to bike meets? (...sais the man with the van...)
  12. Belgians are not famous for their pilsners either, leave that to the Germans and the Czech (Budweiser, Radegast, very nice!) Colorado? This afternoon my GF found an ad for a veeeery cheap US- RV holiday... Thank God for the Euro... (although some of you will disagree ) So maybe we'll take you up on that offer!
  13. To be honest, I'm not a big fan of stouts, dark ale, triples, etc. A tasty fresh pilsner/lager does the trick for me, and sometimes a german häfeweizen. That was what I was looking for in the US supermarkets. (and didn't find)
  14. Want to see my vacation pics? Just a few brands I tried: Coors, Rolling Rock, Bud, Busch, Schlitz and their Light versions (those are extremely ) I ended up drinking Heineken, the dutch equivalent of buffalo piss, but still a lot better than the Famous American Beers. The nicest beer I drank was the last evening, with Al, Mike, Carl and Don. That micro-brewery made excellent beer!
  15. Link, sound on! I wonder how Polish cheerleaders look like...
  16. I can understand the popularity of small breweries in the US. The yellow water they sell as beer in the stores is dreadful. 9 out of 10 supermarket beers I tasted had no taste!
  17. Thanks! Tonight I'm going to polish al stainless boltheads on my bike until I can see myself in them. Al R., do you know what polish I should use?
  18. What does "I'm a bit AR" mean?
  19. I have never heard of an emissions test entering the EU, but some countries are quite strict on noise... Oh, and afaik US emission requirements are much higher than EU.
  20. Fox, you are right, but sometimes a decent italian to english translation would be very handy. I think they don't mention anythng on the site before it's perfectly clear what Piaggio's plans with Guzzi are. I don't think even Piaggio knows...
  21. Antonio, you are right, it IS Rene Froger! He recorded this Leo Sayer song a while ago.
  22. Antonio, this stuff could get you banned Paul is skiing in France and will return saturday or sunday, afaik... and hey, everyone can use online translators
  23. Antonio, did you? On Easter sunday Paul and I will leave for Ledenon, a racing circuit in the south of France. Together with a dozen other (mostly German) Guzzis. we will ride for 3 full days. Hopefully these 3 days on the circuit will produce some nice pics for future generations
  24. I have the same mods... same results! Here's my HP dynochart: Link
