  1. Captain, you are kiddin', right? You are gonna give up on a motorcycle brand like Guzzi because you don't like their clothing line?

No, I'm sad to say we only stay about three weeks in the US. Going by bike is postponed, I feel I have to regain trust in my riding skills before I start off on such a journey. My GF and I are going to rent a RV and start in Seattle. Then see the sites/landscapes in the NW before going to San Francisco which will be the endpoint of our trip. We will be in the US from about July 20th until August 10th as far as we can predict. So we don't need a place to stay, we bring our own! But a small Guzzi party would be great! I'd like to meet you and talk Guzzi. If you have any pointers on this trip let me know!

  5. Hi, you can find some threads on the topic by doing a search. Use PASSENGER as keyword. I never ride two up so I can't give you an opinion...

@ John: But you haven't got a Öhlins fork! Guess who has one for sale in a month or so? Email me for more info.
  7. This is an Aprilia 6.5 (designed by Phillipe Stark) Don't know if this was sold in the US. The usual link should work again (Thx Al) You could use this direct link in the future: Direct link to forum Don't forget to add it to your favourites!
  8. Captain, is this what you want to achieve with the exhaust? I like this, not sure on the white paint...
  9. Al is right. I believe it doesn't matter that much where exactly you drill the f.i. 5 mm hole(s), as long it is only in the plastic housing, not in the tach body! (Pictures are a bit difficult on a V11LM, I'd have to take the fairing off...)
  10. Maybe the law suits from your neighbours?
  11. With two of those giant discs I really would be afraid of braking hard
  12. Carl, have you tried TLM or Agostini?
  13. hehe (I have some more in store)

  15. He probably tells it slower so that he has a bit more time to prepare for a beating
  16. @ KiwiDave From what I recall forummember Biesel did put all the separate pdf's together once. He sent me a copy, but I can't find it anymore... So, better ask him first before you do all the work!
  17. I have the same as you and Paul, the forklegs from the CS. In addition I have bought some spare parts from a German CS-owner who is going to attach a sidecar. I can pick them up somewhere around february.
  18. If you can keep the filesize under 1 Mb I can do that.
  19. @ Brian, I have that one on CD. @ David: Very strange, the direct link to the servicemotoguzzi manuals in the fileshare section work all right for me. And the online V11 manual, which is the aforementioned CD online, needs no Yahoo login. Only when you download it.
  20. KB asked me to attach this image.
  21. Looks stunning Al. And I'm glad you like the new fork! As an aside: If it turns out like I planned, I'll get my hands on a pair of Café Sport Öhlins forks in february. Second hand but hardly used. When I actually have them in my garage I'll let you guys know. Some other parts too...
  22. I'd be interested too. Haven't seen one around. Are yousure it's from a Le Mans?
  23. Moved to technical topics
  24. On tach it will do about 210-220 kmh. thats in mph .... eeehhhh .... #@!#@!#@#@ ... eeeehhhh please do the math yourself! Welcome to the forum and congrats on your new bike!
  25. For that money Ivano Beggio himself should be swimming from Italy to bring you that spring personally!
