  1. You can still get the Dunlop K82 new. A quick google: http://www.nationalbiketyres.co.uk/motorcycle-tyres/dunlop-motorcycle-tyres/classic-k70-k81-k82/cat_85.html
  2. Loft space is prime real estate in NL! You just need some special seeds, some bright lamps and a bit of patience.
  3. There's always something rotten in Denmark... think bacon
  4. Is there already a beer called 'cylinder head sludge' or 'tranny sludge' ?
  5. Have doen the same thing before the Centauro engine transplant . No fitting problems on the v11 cilinders. Not sure through if a 1100 sport fairing has enough room Sent from a clever thingy with a microprocessor and an interweb connection
  6. Thanks! Enjoyed it.
  7. I have planned my holiday in the last two weeks of June, so you can count me in!
  8. @ Jim, are you serious about visiting Scotland? Maybe a Guzzi meeting would be something to incorporate in your holiday trip? @ Guzzirider, any dates already available on Guzzi meetings in 2014?
  9. In Holland we have special autumn beers, called bockbeer. All the small and major breweries compete for the best bockbeer of the season. Lot's of people can't wait for the bockbeers reaching the pubs. Personally, I'm not that fond of it, a bit too sweet and heavy for my taste. I can show lots more pics, but I think you get the idea
  10. Sadly BBC isn't covering motoGP next year, so we Will be forced to pay of we want to see the races Verzonden vanaf mijn iPad met behulp van Tapatalk
  11. Not at all, although the engine has a different kind of grunt than the V11. Sent from a clever thingy with a microprocessor and an interweb connection
  12. Chunnel is a bit cheaper, but then it's twice 800 kms (about twice € 100 ,- diesel...)
  13. Glad you're allright! Nice write up. I've read it with a big smile.
  14. Checked ferries again, but I can't find anything under € 230,- i'm afraid it's just too expensive. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. I checked ferries, but it's bloody expensive to turn up just for the day. But if I decide to show up, what time does it start?
  16. As far as I can remember Guzzi made two different sets, for with and without the lambda sensor. So it depends on what you have. I didn't use the ECU and it ran a lot better with the exhaust system
  17. Same wheel, axle, and brakes as well? That looks awfully promising. NB: I got the Guzzi Öhlins fork from a guy who knew a guy whose cousin worked in Mandello. You can use the same wheel, rotors and calipers, but the axle is different (from a DUC 999 - 25mm ø) and of course different bearings. Furthermore, you can't use the OEM fender, but there are cheap carbon Aprilia RSV replacements on the market that will fit the Öhlins.
  18. Triple clamps are the same for Marzocchi and Öhlins. I did the swap several years ago w/o problems
  19. Happened to me on my first ride after 15 years of none riding! Sting right above my left eye. I had to ride the 25 kms home with one functioning eye. I actually thought about selling the bike and buying a sportscar
  20. I believe the early öhlins don't have a hollow axle, but i'm not sure Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. I have used foam filters om my G&B and they made about 4 HP disappear. I use k&N pods now Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. If it's the hollow one you can look through it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
