  1. It seems you're enjoying the Griso, not only the riding, but the tinkering also. Have fun with both!
  2. But be careful not to scratch the fairing when you loosen the allen bolts! Happened to me. There was hardly enough clearance so an "oops" is easily made...
  3. It seems that famous actor and certified Guzzi nut Ewan McGregor has bought himself a V11 Tenni. Although i doubt he will read this: welcome to the club! http://instagram.com/p/ZR7pQJwy8_/#
  4. I think you could fit a complete V11 system, but not parts of it because of the different dimensions of the X-over. You'd have to change headers too.
  5. Didn't know the site, but the bike is shown a few posts above on this page
  6. I have only had good experiences with the TLM workshop in Nijmegen. They really know their stuff. And Motortoer in Amsterdam also is a good technical support dealer, although I don't have any persoal experience with them.
  7. I could be wrong too, but the Wiki article sounds a bit speculative
  8. The Lambretta was a racer and afaik never came into production. And by 1953 Guzzi didn't even have a transverse V-twin. Guzzi came with a scooter because everyone did then
  9. Just click the Image button in the editor and copy the image URL in the popup. Should work!
  10. Some kind of fork spacer or something?
  11. The rattle you hear is almost surely the dry clutch. So no problem.
  12. Nice looking bike. Enjoy getting rid of all the niggles and then riding it!
  13. Many times an alarm system is required for insurance purposes.
  14. You should be able to rise the forks a bit and lower the rear ride height by adjusting the rear shock, but it will be a marginal difference. Maybe in combination with the custom seat you will be fine. Drive shaft is exposed on all V11 models, no worries.
  15. If it's based on italian air force colors, the green and red are reversed!
  16. That's sad, but glad you're okay!
  17. Good to see you back here! Although it's for a wrong reason Agree with the two above speakers, don't do it. In a couple of years you'll regret it big time. You'll find other ways to (partly) fund your daughter's education. Just put the bike on a stand, and do everything to keep it in immacculate state and in a few years you'll be riding the bike to your daughter's graduation!
  18. Yep, I've done the same. Fits.
  19. But the Three Hondas are, apparently, only counted as one bike! That's because they really are: just styling treatments on the same bones, really. Pretty much like you had to roll your own back in the good ol' days of the UJM... Just like Guzzi with the Breva, 1200 Sport and the Norgay
  20. I especially don't like the Hyperstrada. A supermotard style bike with hard bags? Please...
  21. I really should read more
  22. Nice! But the space between seat and frame ... I don't know. Probably a tall rider needing the leg room?
  23. Tempting, but I'm afraid not possible
  24. Good trick with the baby powder!
  25. Probably the crankshaft pos. sensor. I have had it too. Easy fix. Give it a good clean and use a little bit of liquid gasket. Make sure to use exactly the same number of shims.
