  1. That's really good news!
  2. Somehow media coverage Sandy got over here wasn't as huge as Katrina got a few years back. Don't ask me why. It's a good thing when artists get together and raise money (and awareness) for whatever good cause. The concert didn't get any attention over here. At least not that I've noticed. Can't speak for other European countries.
  3. Don't know the guy, he comes from a part of Holland (upper North) where there is nothing to do, nothing to see, the people are surly (?) and the roads are all straight.
  4. Didn't see or hear anything. What was it for? Some sort of relief concert? Talkin about Billy Joel; Yesterday I saw him appear on the TV show Cafe Racer (Discovery Channel). He talked about choppers and how he didn't understand why people made their already dangerous hobby even more dangerous by riding contraptions that don't handle and hardly brake (and make you look silly...)
  5. Ever wanted to ride on Assen track? The Valhalla of European motorsports? Here's your chance. The combined dutch Italian bike clubs together with CRTHolland organise the Ital Trackday. If you're interested let me know

  6. Keith, thanks for the small paint scheme change. I didn't notice it at first. You are right, it looks better. Maybe a project for next year. Dead battery after six months of only starting but not running the bike.
  7. That was quick!
  8. The tail will look clean, but the sound of the QuatD box is horrible and it ruins the line of the bike; the horizontal line of the sump does not continue in the QuatD. And more importantly: you lose horses ánd torque. I would reconsider! But the G-B kit: nice to see yet another one on the forum! Don't know if you're on Facebook: http://www.facebook.com/GhezziBrianSportMonza
  9. Great stuff! My french is rather poor, but some things I could understand, like: Riding bikes keeps you young at heart.
  10. Keith, what do you mean exactly?
  11. Exactly. You can find the thread here: http://www.v11lemans.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=15561
  12. It's relatively straightforward. You need a pre 2002 (red) front subframe and the 4V throttle bodies. You can use the V11 wiring loom, only the connector to the TPS is different. The 6 speed fits w/o problems.
  13. Won't fit w/o extensive mods. I seem to remember this has been discussed before?
  14. Lots of online EPS to JPG converters: just Google online eps converter
  15. You can find al the logo's and stuff in the Fileshare section

  17. Brits are well known for cross dressing: Monty Python, Tommy Cooper, Benny Hill, Eddie Izzard, etc. No surprise there. I think he's standing on that side of the bike for aesthetic reasons.
  18. Google is your friend... :-) http://www.bikez.com/motorcycles/moto_guzzi_v11_sport_2000.php http://www.bikez.com/motorcycles/moto_guzzi_v11_le_mans_2002.php Short WB: 1,471 mm (57.9 inches) Long WB: 1,490 mm (58.7 inches) Btw, found a picture of your workshop/garage on Facebook. Impressive!
  19. Got the same press release this morning. To be honest, it's not my cup of tea. But the color scheme in these pictures looks much better than the black/orange version I saw a couple of months ago.
  20. Nice!, but bone stock? I see an aftermarket crossover and mufflers and altered footrests.
  21. This is soooo wrong! Got some more?
  22. Chrome moly? Don't think so. Way too expensive. I did some cutting and grinding on the front subframe. Plain otdinary steel. Can't imagine the would use something else on the rear subframe
  23. Thanks for sharing!
  24. Yes, not as grunty as the V11 engine, but over 5000 rpm it's bloody fast!
