  1. New Video on YouTube:
  2. Because in May/June every weekend is filled with one, two or even three Guzzi Meetings
  3. Yep, 10 years (!) Forum Anniversary in 2012. I already spoke with Paul in Sibbe, but I still have to call him to get a fixed date. I'll try for early September or last weekend August. I hope by then he still has the possibility to camp...
  4. I'm sorry, but too much has happened. He's not welcome here anymore. Apart from all the people he chased off the forum, I was way too busy with straighteniung him (and others) out.
  5. Came too late on the scene - so only got to know him by proxy... But, but... I sure miss that RatchetHack. Aah, to suckle on those vinegar tits & to feel the swipe of his gnarly paw - I love that ol' codger! Bring him back Jaap! No
  6. At the moment I'm very busy with building a float for our village parade (3d weekend August). Our theme is "strippoker". Not much time for riding. And there is my regular work too!
  7. Rumours are that Aprilia will launch an all-road too. Competing with the Stelvio. So there is no excuse left for MG to bring a sportsbike!
  8. At my MG dealer TLM they have the Millepercento Alba for sale. I saw it on their website and decided to take a look. What can I say: the bike looks much better in the flesh than on pictures! Beautifully (hand)made, what you think is black plastic is actually CF, aluminium tank, and lots of highend equipment. The frame is built by MPC. It only uses the engine, drive train and wheels from Guzzi. It's a big bike. much larger than the V11. You can compare it to the Aprilia RSV. Plenty of legroom and a comforable seat(ing position). Didnt expect to ride it, but Martijn at TLM offered me a test ride; who am I to reject? The mapping wasn't quite good; in lower revs it was still a bit awkward. But from 3000 rpms it picks up smoothly an goes like a freight train, with no torque or power dips. Much more power than a V11 or 1200 Sport. Mind you, I've never ridden the new 8-valve engines, so I can't compare it with those. Handling is very good. Very quick and responsive. Haven't tried it in long sweepers. Sadly I only had 20 minutes or so. If it's worth the money, you have to decide for yourself. One thing is for sure: you WILL get noticed!
  9. Somehow I knew this was going to happen when Enzo reappeared... All I can say is take it easy all, and if you don't get his schtick don't reply. I's as easy as that.
  10. I blocked the above w8less link as it sends me to a page containing virusses...
  11. Because your question was rather off topic, I started a new thread for you.
  12. He is no longer amongst us: http://www.v11lemans.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=15613
  13. @Euan: Is that your appartment? I hardly recognize it! To all potential visitors: you'll hardly find a nicer spot to stay in the centre of Edinburgh.
  14. Now I have, but to be honest, I don't get your point. I have a really nice G/F who let's me do the M/C thing as much as I want/need. My point only is that I hate those artificial romantic story lines, that don't belong in those films.
  15. Good find! Always the nagging women in these 50's and 60's flicks... Even in WWII movies they managed to weave in a romantic story line. Boring!

I have a carbon starter motor cover for sale (see Classifieds - and this time I know it's whereabouts) It hasn't got the screws and stuff, but I don't think it'll be that hard to mount. You know how to contact me...
  19. And? How did you get on on the track? Bike okay?
  20. I think I have three badges lying around. They're not new. One for top yoke and two from the "pork chops". I think these are the sdame as on the alternator cover. You can have them for shipping costs. I have to look them up though. Contact me at : jaap v11lemans com
  21. Hello Jan, congrats on the new Griso! Lovely bike.
