  1. Track and beer afterwards. Where do I sign up?
  2. Sounds like a plan! I'm up for it.
  3. It didn't do anything for my sneeze. Balancing the throttle bodies and setting the tps right cured my sneeze.
  4. You can't buy the fairing and headlight seperately... and I don't think it would match up with the curvy large V11 tank For more info check out this thread: http://www.v11lemans.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=15561
  5. Brian Saturno from Ghezzi-Brian contacted me if he could use my pictures for a blog. I guess this is the result! Thanks for the link!
  6. You could probably use regular stainless metric bolts M6 or M8?
  7. It's Sachs Boge. Don't know if you can change the rod. I would opt for aftermarket, f.i.: Öhlins, Wilbers, Penske.
  8. Nice upgrade! Sadly mine is broken. The knob (?) has come off and I can't find a juweler shop that repairs Junkers watches. My GF bought me this one for my birthday last month:
  9. AFAIK wheels are PVM.
  10. Hi Mortimer, welcome to the forum! Check out this thread for more info on this project: http://www.v11lemans.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=15561&st=0
  11. Why blasphemy? Her's some inspiration:
  12. Quick follow up: The bike was at TLM yesterday and they took care of the TB synchronization and setting the TPS right. Popping is gone now! Happy camper!!! I also mounted the full metal Daytona temp sensor holder adding a squeeze of anti-seize.
  13. Beer..? Apple juice!
  14. Picture was taken at a small Dutch only V11 meeting in Arnhem, a couple of years back. I didn't know what you were thinking, but my guess is, it wasn't the above.
  15. Skeeve, is it just the header-picture with the logo you don't like? Because the rest has stayed basically the same.
  16. It used to be a 2001 red/grey V11 LeMans Now it looks like this:
  17. The popping/misfiring happens when I close throttle when braking and when riding at constant speed. I know I can ride higher revs but in the city that's not really comfortable. Exhaust is leak free. What I haven't checked yet: throttle body sync. I have a DVOM (had to look that up: digital volt/ohm meter) and will check the TPS. Thanks so far. I will let you know how I get on.
  18. This topic has been about since the start of the forum, but now I'm experiencing it myself. All the info is spread, maybe it's a good idea to have all possible culprits named here With a hot engine the bike pops and misfires between 3000 and 4000 rpm: I have checked the following w/o result: - Throttle body rubbers for cracks - Cleaned all injection related contacts with a good contact cleaning spray. - Valves are set correctly What could cause this? And more important, what could make this go away?
  19. Living close to the German border, the reception of the german tv-stations was much better than of the dutch ones. And who knows... maybe I'll end up UNDER a Beemer: fatally crashing in the tail of grandpa's R80
  20. I was watching this when I was young:
  21. I think I'm a bit too young for these, but don't you just love the term "Supermarionation" ?
