  1. It's the deep sump kit from Moto Spezial. I have it on my V11 too. Don't know if it's still available though. http://www.mgcycle.com/product_info.php?products_id=2784
  2. Pure poetry! Thanks. I wish everyone here a merry Christmas and a lovely 2011 with a speedy start of the biking season. And I want to thank you all for contributing to this forum, making it my favourite hobby! After my GF, my Sport Monza, my 1200 Sport, playing billiards, making dinner, reading the newspaper, Facebook, mowing the lawn and doing the dishes.

  9. The Tekno bags need a frame. These look like throw overs. The grip also looks different. I'm almost sure they're not the Tekno bags most of us have...

  16. Ben, I am definetely not the guy to ask advice on loans. I never applied for one, because being self employed the intrest rates I would get are ridiculous. FWIW, I was brought up to work hard and save money if you really want something.
  17. i've been starting the machine with the sidestand up, i thought this was a safty feature so u couldn't ride off with sidestand down to a disastrous left turn....just went out to the garage, sidestand down, in neutral (light on) clutch in, push start, starts right up. maybe the code is broken... thanks for the reply & hints stef That's normal, bike will start with sidestand down, but only when in neutral (bike has to able to idle on the sidestand). For the procedure I'm with Savagehenry.
  18. Very nice report. Thanks for sharing. You live in the most beautiful country I've seen. And I've only seen Seattle to San Francisco following the National Parks. Plenty more places in the US on my wish list (and now one more!)
  19. Please note, there is a diameter difference in the pin hole between the
  20. Glad you sorted it out! Its always a PITA to find out where strange noises originate.
  21. Ben, you're allright. That's good news. If I were you I would consider an all road type bike like the Triumph Tiger. Big bike with plenty of room and you can cruise it, you can travel with it (also two up) and they're really sharp in the corners. Good luck!
  22. To be honest, the Islay stuff is a bit too much for me. I can't get used to the iodine smell and taste.
  23. What a coincidence! I tasted that stuff just last Sunday. I needed therapy afterwards!
