    The eagle design was indeed my idea. I liked the stylized lion on the recent Aprilas and used that as inspiration. Estimated total costs including donor bike, wheels, Öhlins goodies, paint-job and all new parts like clipons: € 17.500,- (of course own working hours are not included)

    That depends on where you send it. Under a certain amount (can't recall how much) no import tax for the receiver and always make sure you use the word "used". For instance "used motorcycle parts". But there are no guarantees. You'll have to tell that to the receiver before you send it.

    Just a thought: with the increase of ethanol percentage in fuel, it's also a good idea to go the alu way.

    Cadwell Park, lovely track! Also for spectators like me. Yesterday I was riding (okay, thrashing) the G&B and I was so glad I didn't sell the V11. What a great engine! especially now it's been remapped.

    Don't forget there is difference between tanks: pre 2002 the fuel pump is outside. My 2001 tank is available as a model if you want, but I guess you need a complete bike?

    AFAIK the clipon/USD fork diameter is 54mm. Both Öhlins as Marzocchi. I changed from Marz to Öhlins without having to change the triple tee
