I really like what he did and his eye for details, but it looks like he had a bottomless wallet. What I really don't like is the closed swingarm. It's too bulky for my taste. And the red line on the fairing does not line up with the red line on the tank/seat piece. But overall: hats off!

I've only seen and heard it once: loud as f*ck! Defo illegal on Dutch roads. And to be honest, not that good looking as well

Seeing MG's track record with new models, I seriously doubt this: 'Moto Guzzi has most likely started the production, and the bikes will be shipping out soon after EICMA.'

From personal experience I can say that TLM (Teo Lamers Motorcycles) does a lot of the things you mention. They organize bike trips to Mandello (GMG), do tours in the area, bike presentations and have a coffee corner. On saturdays when the weather is good, there are always bikers visiting, just kicking tyres. But the people from TLM always try to take the time for a small chat (with free advice if needed)

FWIW, when I had my V11 it stumbled around 3000 rpm too. It was a case of small cracks in the intake rubbers. After replacing them it ran a lot better. Worth checking.

I did it the other way around and as far as I can remember that worked.

The cases on my '01 V11 LM were redone through warranty. It came back with a wrinkled finish that almost matched the finish on the gearbox. I could only spot the difference from very close by. I believe it was done by a firm in Germany. Afaik they redid all the bad cases.

Boy, how I would love to come over! But financially it's just not possible.

Business wise (I'm self employed) I had a really crappy 2nd and 3d quarter in 2020. But in October suddenly (new) clients began to call. Everything's going well! Next week I will receive the keys to my new home. After 4 years in a small apartment, my GF and I decide to finally stop with the LAT and move in together. We bought a nice roomy house (with a garage! ) and we hope to grow old together there. As for Covid: we had an 'intelligent lockdown' last year and in the summer after the first wave everything loosened up a bit. But when the second wave came our government decided we had to be at home at 9.00 PM until 4.30 AM. This is still the case. To be honest, apart from closed shops, bars and restaurants an doing the online meetings, my life wasn't very different. We we're allowed to get out on our bike. That made up for all the other stuff.

Same here. Left side of tires always wear down faster. Has to do with riding on the right side, but I also enjoy left-handers much more.
