Apart from the typical dry clutch rattle, I have a metallic sounding squeech when I'm pulling the lever at idle. When riding it isn't there or I just don't here it. Same difference. I had this from new, and I just ignore it.
Just try it. If you brake hard and nothing happens you don't need them. AND... there is no yellow warning sticker that sais you can't loosen the bolts. If it goes wrong you can sew MG for a new Stelvio!
You probably mean the PowerCommander. Do a forum search and you'll find lot's of info and endless discussions on the pros and cons.
The bullet connectors can be used as a universal 12V output; someone please correct me if I'm wrong.
