  1. Are the TB's balanced ?
  2. Must be 50 different programs on that page. This is not like power commander where driver is loaded by cd? Also is winzip required?
  3. I have ordered my cables chip ftdi fi232rl Just cant figure what driver I need. windows 10 is on my computer. Thanks
  4. No oil out of the sender hole = no oil pressure, or a passage way is blocked and the block was not correctly cleaned out.
  5. Years ago I changed the pawl spring, and a small leak developed coming from the through stud on the plate. On the advice of others here I took a dime and used case sealer to bond it in the hole. After cleaning the area well. That was 6 years ago all is good. Look and see where the leak is coming from.
  6. Yes it was the oem clutch. Curtis at Harpers got all the parts together, great guy!! The oem was only bonded not riveted and the bonding failed. Learned a lot about a moto guzzi on the clutch replace, we are now one.
  7. Put in new plugs, they may be fouled, same thing just happened to me.
  8. At about the same miles my clutch friction plates came unglued, bonded. Sounded louder and the clutch did not act the same. Some times it would not fully disengage and acted odd when engaging. If this is what you got, new clutch time.
  9. Have you put it in gear and let out the clutch? Does it engage and go through the gears? It don't sound good that's for sure. How long ago was the clutch done?
  10. I would adjust the linkage, moving on the spline may cause it to hit some where on the case.
  11. Must be winter time, oil thread. I just don't think the V11 engine requires this much thought. Don't get me wrong I LOVE THIS BIKE I have owned it for 14 years. Keep the oil on the full mark, put in a good oil change it when required, I go 1 year or 3000 miles. Not sure what the PPM of ZDDP in the crank case is. Mobil 1 V twin with a 1/2 bottle STP makes me happy. Hell I run pods on the bike cause It looks good and sounds great, so do the d&d cans. Keeping the oil clean and topped off in my view is the best thing you can do for this bike. This is the best motorcycle forum on the net so much information and so many people willing to help!
  12. That's why the STP high in ZDDP.
  13. I always use 1/2 bottle blue STP due to the old time design of the V11 engine. Push rods and lifters. A few years back their was a rash of problems with cams and lifters. Don't know for sure if the STP helps, but have you ever tried to wash it off of your hands?
  14. May just be low RPM'S. The tune us a very good idea.
  15. I am in Virginia and we have had a lot of rain. Hoping to take it out Saturday. Going to Summit point Monday for a track day . It would be nice to run the V11 around the track for a few sessions.
  16. Both are 19mm, went with 50fp on each, blue lock tite. Must not be that important, just good and tight for the size of the bolt.
  17. Hi all, Re sprung my rear shock and does anyone know the torque setting for the top and bottom shock mount bolts? Thanks in advance,2000 v11 sport
  18. Sounds like wheel bearings. Grab the wheels one at a time and try to wiggle them, any movement may be the bearings.
  19. It is about three times the cost. I use it in my track bike, because of the high boiling point works well. Still must flush frequently. If the rear brakes are fading something is causing it, dragging caliper, resting foot on brake lever, not flushing often enough. I think it is more important to find the problem, a higher boiling point fluid may just mask the problem and cause issues with the rear brake system. 5.1 Motul is good stuff and does work well.
  20. The harbor freight electric impact gun works great, 250 foot lb torque no compressor needed. I have used it to remove clutch baskets, and all kind of parts. Use a torque wrench to reinstall parts! I think its 40$.
  21. 4000 rpm 40psi if you are happy with it have fun and go. Still seems a bit low and if oil pressure is marginal it will never get better or correct itself. It's bleeding somewhere.
  22. Pull the sump and please check your oil filter. Check the gasket, look for particles in the sump. Something is wrong, check the big easy things first. May be just that simple, oil filter loose, cross threaded two or no gasket. I do hose clamp my filter, found it loose once.
  23. Those numbers look quite low to me, 4000 rpm 16psi hot is not good. Others may chime in but what you got would have me take a closer look.
  24. Not wanting this thread to turn into a OIL THREAD I had the same problem years ago. Here is what I did. Took the gear shift lever apart cleaned and lubed. Replaced the selector spring (the selector has to come off). Replaced the transmission oil. I used mobil 1 75-140 Not sure of the first # but the 140 is what I use. Still a little notch going into 3rd, but no false neutrals.
  25. The cup is what I called a button so you got that part in. I did my clutch a few years back, took a good bit of bleeding to get all the air out of the line.
