I have for sale an OEM Guzzi rear rack and mounting hardware. It has scuffs and scratches from 12 years of use but is otherwise in good condition. I would like $150 plus shipping. Sale is pending.

Yes, Suches is pronounced, "Such is". It's hard to make a call on the temperature in late September, but the highs may be in the 80's. Suches in general is always cooler than the surrounding area.

Well, it's that time of year again. Join us for the Georgia Moto Guzzi Campout at Two Wheels of Suches, on September 22,23, and 24. Great roads, great food, your favorite motorcycles, and some of the best people I have ever met. TWOS has a great atmosphere and is run by fantastic people, including Bill, Carol, Skip, and the rest of the hard working crew. https://twowheelsofsuches.com/

I took the bike to a friend who is a highly skilled welder and fabricator, who said he can repair it, he just wanted to know what the base material is to help with wire selection.

Does anyone know what the spacer between the block and the sump is made from. aluminum, magnesium? Guzzi calls this part (flange black) and the part number is GU01003290. I have to get it repaired and it would be helpful to know the material it's made from. Thanks in advance!

My plastic gauge back cup cracked on the road, losing a piece adjacent to the odo reset knob. I took my gauges apart probably 10 years ago and that gasket your referring to was there and intact.I do have a problem with the tack building moisture on a cold morning that will evaporate when it warms up.

Why do you think I would need the gasket.Scud?

I need the plastic piece that the gauges go inside, Guzzi calls it the "Odometer Support", part number GU01762090.

It was mostly cosmetic, with the exception of a pretty serious gas leak up in the tunnel, which was repaired by my painter several times over an 8 year period. I found another tank a year and a half ago, had it and the fly screen repainted. The vin is ZGUKTC0224M111180.

I have a 2004 V11 Sport Ballabio with 36,000 miles on the clock, bought with a salvage title in 2010 when it had 5,000 miles .One odd thing, it had bronze colored valve cover's. I had them painted in the frame/wheel color and just repainted them and the wheel's. The image is old, I have a full Mistral system on it now.

Docc, I appreciate your endorsement of Sloan's, that's the kind of input I'm looking for. p6x, I am referring to the V100. My friend is very impulsive and nothing I do will prevent him from trying to find someone to take his money, I can only try to find endorsements of one or more of the dealers I listed above and suggest he contact them to see what information they have regarding the new model. If I had a good opinion of Marietta Motorsports/Vespa/Moto Guzzi/Royal Enfield I would not be asking this question, as we live around 70 miles from them. I have traded with them in the past and have had a couple of friends that worked there, one in Vespa sales and one was the best Guzzi tech in the area and has since retired. I prefer a dealership that can give good service after the sale. I hope to hear opinions of a few of the other dealers listed above, good or bad. Thanks for the input guys.

I called Savannah because I'd heard that they quit carrying Guzzi. The salesman I spoke with assured me that they did still carry the brand but he had no idea what I was talking about when I mentioned the new bike.

I have a friend wanting to put down a deposit on the new MG sport touring model. Unfortunately we don't have a decent dealer in the North Georgia area so we are looking for recommendations. Closest to us is Knoxville followed by Murfreesboro,Tn, Then Savannah, Charlotte and Jacksonville. Does anyone have an opinion on any of there dealers? I know he is probably a bit premature in wanting to put down a deposit, but when it's time I want to help welcome him into the fold. Thanks in advance!
