  1. Built just over a year ago by Bruce Rawsthorne and it has to be one of (if not the) best V11 Sports in the UK. Currently on just £2500 with 6 days to go. Thanks for looking. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=330555808689&ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT
  2. Different bike. Bruce had the newly powder coated engine casings for the Scura in his garage when I bought the V11 in June. My bike ...
  3. Hi Robin. Just to let you know the V11 Sport is going great and is here to stay I think. Just done one thing to it, had some bar end weights made to get rid of that bloody vibration. 100% better now and everyone that see's it remarks what a good job you and Bruce did. Regards. Jim
  4. Well I decided to make make my own bar weights and went to the little engineering shop in the next village. £40 and a day later I had these, mild steel but I have painted them, 1lb 3oz each and a totally transformed bike
  5. Nice job
  6. True and now I know what their meant to be like it should be easier. I thought there was something not quite right as when I first looked at the bar end weight in the right hand side it is the same as the long one fitted in the left but it has been snapped off short as the bar is solid from 30mm in. it never looked like it should be like that. I have contacted a guy in the uk that is breaking a V11 and he is getting back to me. Guzzi dealer doesnt sell the tubes seperatly, you have to buy the clapms and the weights as well and they are over £120 per side
  7. Yeah I reckon I have two odd ones. they look the same but the left hand one is a two peice as you call it and I think the right hand is solid apart from the last 30mm. f*ck it im just going to leave it as it is and maybe put clamps and renthals on one day. Thanks for the help though. jim
  8. Thats what I thought but for some strange reason whilst I have a hollow tube on the left hand side when I take the weight off the right hand side and look up inside it appears solid after 30mm which I guess wouldn't be enough for the MS weights. Think I must have odd bars which is why I was going to fit the Renthals, however when they turned up and I took the origenal onees off today it turns out they have a grove slotted into them at the top which obviously cant do to the hollow Renthal.
  9. Does anyone have a top yoke for a 2000 V11 Sport for sale?
  10. WHOA what? really? what bike do you have? I had no trouble making mine fit, measure your tube to see what size you need, there are only two sizes, do you have the threaded ends for the stock weights? Should be a really simple operation here no need to get new bars Yes I have threaded ends for the stock weights, did you order screw in ones or hollow tubes fitting?
  11. I have ordered two new Renthal clip on tubes to replace the originals. This way I will be able to order some MS weights in the sure knowledge that they'll fit ok.
  12. I have noticed that dipped beam on my V11 Sport is yellow and seems quite quite dim. Main beam seems bright and white, the reflector and unit seems in perfect condition so I changed the bulb .... still the same. Any idea's or are "they all like that sir".
  13. That does look like a nice job. I'm thinking that I will fit a set of Renthals to my V11 as I love everything about the bike except the vivs through the bars. Thing is I do like the riding position and the cafe racer style, has anyone simply fitted a set of almost flat bars upside down abit like the newer Thruxtons, and do you think it would look ok?
  14. I didn't end up buying any. I phones and spoke to the guy and he seemed very unsure which would fit my 2000 V11 with the standard clip-ons so I emailed him a couple of photos of the Guzzi weights removed. He didn't think he'd have anything that would fit so I didn't bother.
  15. Well not being 100% sure what fitting I needed I bit the bullet, called Paul in the States and ordered a pair of black ones.
