  1. Uhh, yeah. That's what I've been saying.
  2. Uh huh..
  3. I'm not buying that. There's no play between the clutch plates and intermediate plate when the clutch is released.
  4. How do they rattle with spring pressure against them?
  5. I think from the uneven firing impulses. The two clutch plates and intermediate plate are free to rattle back and forth. IIRC, Pete explained that one time.
  6. I read an interview on WG with one of the Piaggio mutkey mucks that said a new bike was in the works. We might get a glimpse at EICMA and that the production models would be shown at the year following. So perhaps 2019? They need another cruiser to fill the slot between the Roamer and the 1400.
  7. ^^^^^ I had an original on the Jack All rig, and no matter how ugly it is, it just flat works. Doesn't look like it, but you could smoke a seegar behind it. return from 66 328 by Charles Stottlemyer, on Flickr
  8. Well, at least you've learned not to do that..
  9. Weighed the Mighy Scura.. 505 lbs. empty. I thought it would be heavier..
  10. I'm not knocking the small blocks.. I have two of em for heavensake.. but they're not in the same league if you like a bike with a little "brio".
  11. I'm a Luddite, and don't know how to link, but this is pretty darn good.. frameborder="0" allowfullscreen>
  12. ^^^^ An MZ is even better. Throw away prices and great handlers.
  13. I know a kid that tried to shut off a Gravely garden tractor by peeing on the spark plug.. but I digress too. My take.. They are only original once. I have everything to restore my Monza, but have had second thoughts.. 2016-04-19_10-47-45 by Charles Stottlemyer, on Flickr I think I will leave it, warts and all. Some day, the Kid can decide whether to restore it or not.
  14. Well, it's about time.. fix that sucker and go raiding.
  15. You'll see a puff of blue smoke on startup with worn valve stems, but not much consumption, really. Metallic rattle? I wouldn't think so.
  16. Earlier in the thread he said NLA.
  17. Docc, here's the thread on WG. That way you can listen to the ventriloquist instead of the dummy.. http://wildguzzi.com/forum/index.php?topic=91144.0
  18. One of the answers from WG.. I know it's not oem but Kaman, Motion Ind. or any good bearing house or Hydraulic shop should have that nowadays. If all else fails I know they make O-ring kits to build your own. Plan B... I have a spare used complete slave Lemme know Paul B
  19. Definitely. Is there a part number on the slave?
  20. I'll put up a blurb on WG and see if anyone knows of something.
  21. 276 south of Caesars head is not to be missed.. I'll be in Oshkosh playing airplane all week, and will miss the eclipse. So many things to do, so little time..
  22. That's what it says. However.. when you change the cam you'll probably have to change the length B. All you are doing is making sure the piston is able to fully retract and uncover the orifice.
  23. Uhhhh. Docc.. uhhh, sometimes a friend will tell you when you might be uhhh.. going a little overboard. I have three, and thought maybe I was in need of an intervention. You may have a problem..
  24. Chuck
