  1. Oh, another thing. *I've not tried it on a clutch* but if you have bled to where you have "some pedal" or lever, zip tie the lever back to the bar as hard as you can hold it, or hang a 20 lb. weight off the brake lever over night. When you cut the zip tie, or remove the lever, Viola! It's bled.
  2. Ok, the steel came today. I'll (more than likely) take it to the water jet shop tomorrow. Speak now, or forever hold your peace..
  3. You could wait for (ahem) 6 months or so with the tank empty for it to return to normal size. I'm thinking orthodontia will be the solution.
  4. Thanks for taking us along.
  5. I use a syringe and push the fluid to the reservoir. Air bubbles go in front of the fluid if you do it right. Works on airplanes with their convoluted brake lines and many times two master cylinders in line.
  6. I don't know if Joe is on here or not, but somebody needs to make him an offer.. I have enough projects. http://wildguzzi.com/forum/index.php?topic=86351.0

  7. Hmmm, that ain't rat.. black chunks?
  8. It's also a Buell lens, available at your local Harley dealer for cheap. The MZ Skorpion uses it too.. probably others.
  9. The curve of the Harley tps is not the same as the curve of the PF3C. Since Cali and V11 use the same PF3C, I can not see any reason, why the tps of cycleworks should not work on a V11, I understand that they send a nice test curve with each tps. It would be interesting to know why they write like that on their website, a mistake? (the picture is from some Guzzi -site, I have no note where I took it from) From the distant recesses of my mind, I vaguely remember somebody giving them grief when it wasn't exactly the same as whatt was on their V11, and their lawyer speak had them put that in their blurb. As far as I know, it'll work fine.
  10. That's why the goddess invented digital cameras and phones..
  11. ^^^^ what KR says, of course.. but if the starter solenoid fails and hangs up, it'll blow the fuse too. Mark at MGClassics had a box of failed starters from warranty replacements when the Mighty Scura's acted up. They were either loose magnets or failed soleniods. I took one apart that had loose magnets and replaced my solenoid. It's been fine ever since.
  12. You're in. It'll be a while before I can run them..the cnc's tied up with a production job.
  13. Billy Bobs had the twin plate clutch. Maybe it was 107500 miles?
  14. Kool. The internet can be a wonderful thing..
  15. I know it's a little late to ask, but have you considered a Craig's list oven and your own gun?
  16. That project will last for about 6 hours, or until terminal boredom sets in. Don't ask me how I know..
  17. I keep trying to be. But I'll never quit making stuff. It's what I do.
  18. Oh, she's faithful enough.. she just requires attention.
  19. That's 20, (minimum order from the water jet shop) so it's a go. I'll wait a bit more before ordering steel to see if anyone else wants one.
  20. Done.
  21. Ok, you're in.
  22. ^^^^ You three guys are on the list. That makes 13.
  23. Yeah, it'll be fine.
  24. So far, we have nine. I'm planning on getting 20 cut at the water jet shop. I'll spam a couple of other sites. Won't be able to buy that villa in Italy without making a few more..
  25. Still want them, Bruce?
