Making a “Beeline” work – the alternative Sat-Nav

In most photo programs, you will see Direct, BB (bulletin board) code.. it has the .img.. and HTML. After the latest upgrade to this site, BB no longer works, and you have to choose "Direct." -

You have to use the "Direct" option instead of img. -
It sounds to me like lack of a Roper plate may have run the bottom end. At any rate, don't run it again without pulling the sump and seeing if that is the case. Have you done a lot of WFO acceleration?
-
Nope, that didn't work, either. Apparently, Flickr doesn't play well. I downloaded it, put it in Imgzeit and used "direct." I'll try to remember. Thanks, Docc.

Normally, when we are out over Xmas, you can't get much higher than Newcomb's. That's why I stay in the SMMs. Certainly, one of my most epic rides was when Guzzi Bob, two other old farts and I lit up the crest from the bottom to the top. Perfect day, and unforgettable...
-
I normally spend my time in the Winter in the Santa Monicas. Old riding buddy, Guzzi Bob(RIP) lived near the crest. We rode literally thousands of miles together. I still miss him when I go out to SoCal..
-
This is normally the time I start to think about going out to SoCal for 1000 miles or so of canyon riding. Not this year..
-
That'll buff out.. but if you would want, they are rebuildable. Cheap.

I *like* Pyro Dan, and his relays are very good. That said, for the V11S, Omrons are more better.

awesome..

Horry Carp!

Not necessarily the same manufacturer, but definitely the correct pitch diameter and pitch.

I sent you an email..

^^^^ Sacrilege. He shall be burned at the stake at dawn..

That will get you an Attaboy! Nice work, Dave..

He was about the right age for that unexpected heart attack if he hadn't been keeping up with his yearly physical exam. That was about the age I had to start staying on top of various heart related issues. My half brother died suddenly at 52. (!) I have a half sister that is still going strong at 93, though.. Just the same, the Reaper told me that tomorrow isn't guaranteed. Enjoy life..

Is is worth it? Absolutely. Classy sign, too.

So Summer.. that's July 30 to August 3? Norwegian bachelor farmer describing the weather after moving to Minnesota.. "The Winters are very beautiful here.. I don't know what the Summer is like, I've only been here 10 months.."
-
Really pretty country, Tom. Itchy Boots did a video a few days ago.. I was impressed.

Well, I don't think anyone here thinks any motorcycle is actually useful. Abject silliness is what it is all about.. and there are many in SoCal that will pony up their pocket change for something like this. I, too, have seen Todd's work.. and it is first class. Is it for me? No. Make that Hell No.

To add to what Jason said ^^^^ when I was still a young pup in my late 50s, I had comfort issues with my Duck. Finally gave up and bought a cruiser. Hated it.. and.. started getting low back pain for the first time in my life. Dorcia decided to kill me and sent me to a personal trainer. I thought I was in pretty good shape for an "old" guy, but he wasn't impressed. He said, "Your core strength sucks. I'll get you back on sport bikes and road bicycles in no time." He did. If you are putting weight on the bars, especially in the twisties.. you are doing it wrong. Hit the gym and suck it up.

I'll be the devil's advocate here. I've seen Todd's stuff, and it is first rate. Would I be a buyer? No. Make that Hell no. There are many in SoCal that the price of one of these is pocket change, though. I wish him the best.
