  1. It's the best place in the world to be if you are wrenching on a V11S..
  2. How long before one of these bad boys takes your picture and automatically sends you a ticket? See the size of the muffler on that 660cc single? Stock? WTF??
  3. Chuck

    Ram Mount.

    I see the roach clip..
  4. I have some big hunker channel locks. With them, you can get enough leverage to re install them. Barely. All the above help, too. Lacking the big hunker channel locks, some orthodontia may help..
  5. It's what Pete would call "a right front bottom of a job."
  6. (Loud and Proud) I have bar ends on two bikes. Don't really care who likes or doesn't like em. I'm paying the bills.. Seriously, I had Lane Splitters on the Mighty Scura in SoCal for obvious reasons. When I brought it back to the midwest, I put Napoleons on it to better see whether that car behind me was a cop or not. Put the Lane splitters on the AeroLario. Works good. Lasts long time.
  7. Wow, Hammershaug.. you have had your share of heartache. (!) Take care of yourself, now, and keep going forward.. I feel for you.
  8. Well, I'll have to admit it's the best one of those I've ever seen. Nice piece of work, Foto.. Dorcia called it a shovelasaurus..
  9. That's why the Goddess made Craftsman and Harbor Freight..
  10. <Elvis/1> Thankya thankya<Elvis/0>
  11. We'll have to agree to disagree on the bar end mirror thing, too, Phil.
  12. Guys that complain about service accessibility on Guzzis have never worked on airplanes. Hey, Footgoose, are you coming to Kip's Sunday?
  13. From fading and unreliable memory.. yes, that is true. Front up and rears down. Shirley someone that *knows* will be along shortly. Welcome to the V11S forum.
  14. That's a beautiful bike, Tom..
  15. Political threads are very divisive. I well remember when two guys that I know, like and respect.. one left and one right.. blew up Wildguzzi. That caused Luap's "no politics" policy. We, on this little V11 forum, won't cure the problems of the world.. as much as we would like to. My personal opinion is that we should just keep it V11S related.
  16. That's a *nicely* done tool box.
  17. Me, either. Saying how I really feel about what is going on might get me banned.
  18. Sheep's a liar..
  19. I finally got around to looking at messages, emails, and PayPal. Most have paid already. Some have over paid. (!) Don't worry though.. I won't spend it on something frivolous.. it will go straight to beer. Thanks, again!
  20. Just goes to show you there's an ass for every seat. Not my cuppa, either..but I'm an antiquer.
  21. Power to weight ratio..
  22. Believe me, I tried. The problem is this is an "ultralight" and has a max weight of 254 lbs by definition. I thought of a 650, inverted to get the thrust line in the correct place, dry sump, and limited to 3400 rpm.. but it was still too heavy. I'll use a half VW, or a Verner 3 cylinder radial. TBD.
  23. Hey.. we're all friends here. Honestly, I don't mind PayPal getting their cut. It makes it so much simpler for both the buyer and seller *especially* when dealing with non domestic. I worked with a guy in Australia on a Lario engine that didn't want to pay PayPal fees and by the time the banks had done money transfers, etc. it cost more. So, either way is ok with me. For those of you that have already paid..Thanks! I know some paid yesterday as soon as I sent out the cryptic copy and paste messages. I haven't even looked yet. Sorry I wasn't chatty.. I was just trying to get them all done and going to the right place. Dorcia and I were doing a "production" operation.
  24. Yeah, I've been starting on an airplane project for *something to do* during the Covid crisis. Wood from Canada eh? and chrome moly tubing from Germany were both held up in customs for what seemed like forever while I was sitting around waiting for it.
  25. Alrighty, now.. they are winging your way after a marathon packing and shipping session with Dorcia's help. Domestic should arrive in 2-3 days. Overseas should arrive eventually. From memory, the longest of the last batch was about 10 days. FWIW, USPS has never lost any that I've sent out so far, but I have tracking numbers if necessary. Whew! It's officially beer o'clock.
