  1. Yes, and yes again.
  2. There is kind of a "drill" to install them, but they fit ok on mine. Not unlike fitting up a cowling on some airplanes,.
  3. Ok, everyone that wants a lucky Phil extender.. send me a PM or email to 59dotchuck(at) g mail dot com with your mailing address. If I get 10, I'll order material.
  4. Good luck with that.. Those fall into Pete's RHS area.. maybe someone will have one, though.
  5. Hi, Kelly.. you are number 8. I have no idea about time line or if we get 10 that want them. I would have to order material from a place that may or may not be open, and get the stuff that doesn't matter done by a water jet shop that may or may not be open, either. This thread is where it all happens. What I've been doing is have you send me an email or PM with your shipping info, and when I ship them out tell you how much shipping is. Shipping has been running roughly $3.50 US to roughly $15 US for furriners, except Kanukistanians, which are around $8.50 from memory. People can either paypal, personal check, barter for beer, etc. Previously, after having material in hand it takes a couple of weeks to work into the water jet shop's schedule, then run them on the cnc, form them, bead blast and paint them.
  6. Crap. Seven.
  7. ^^^^^ That's 6 that I remember. Everybody that wants one (or several) chime in. I'll (with any luck at all) make it happen.
  8. That's a *really* nice guitar she's strummin, but I guess she can afford it.
  9. I *like* the masked lady pic..
  10. Back at the turn of the century.. *this one* We visited friends in the small village of Gamblingay and they took us all over England for 3 weeks. We literally couldn't understand most people in Yorkshire.. What an unforgettable trip that was..
  11. We've been staying at home for 10 days now. After all, neither of is are spring chickens. This morning, I girded my loins and made a trip to the small town grocery store at 6am. It was pretty much deserted. We were getting low on fresh veggies, mainly. I was *very* careful. Dorcia had pneumonia and a lingering UR infection last year. If a lockdown happens, we could hang in for a couple of months if we had to. Actually, I'm kind of a hermit, like to cook, and we are doing well. The worst thing is Austin is coming and going out in the shop and I can't go out there because of that.
  12. That's not true, Phil. My helicopter broke down, so I couldn't get to the yacht to go to the Bahamas..
  13. Right, Docc. It *is* the future. Is this being overblown? I don't have a crystal ball, but we're doing everything we can to be responsible and reduce our chance of passing it on. There *is * no cure so far. Yes, it is "deuced inconvenient.. " I "need" to go to the lumber yard and pick up some stuff to build a wing jig that I ordered. Not happening..
  14. Sorry, I carefully used *all* of my material when I did the last run. For me to buy some more plus shipping, and talk my water jet guy into doing a few, then setting up the cnc and running them isn't really viable. I'd at least need to do 10 parts.
  15. Hiya Art.. Small world, yes?
  16. 1 Not that I know. That gasket is really thick.. just make sure it is compressed all around. 2 good idea 3 Take your pick, but make sure they have rolled edges.
  17. No doubt, you are the first to do something like this.. I forgot to put the cup in one time.
  18. It sounds like an interference problem of some sort.. but..I'm having a hard time imagining what it is.

    V11 Tenni

You think that's alarming.. think about it coming loose at 6000 rpm. I wouldn't want my dangly bits around, either..

    V11 Tenni

When Pete bought the Mighty Scura and sent it to MPH to do some "maintenance" before he came to the states, one of the first things on the list was to replace the single plate clutch because of "some dangly bits" too close to the exploding flywheel.

    V11 Tenni

It's easy enough to change to the common dual plate clutch, although expensive. Some here have gone to the Ram single plate clutch. A search should find some info.. I'd call it a Belleville spring.
  22. Timing chest.
  23. One of the reasons Pete says that V11s don't crash well is the front engine mount is on what I would call the accessory case on an aircraft engine. It's not uncommon to find it cracked, and the tubing tweaked. I would give that area a hard look.

Ok, here we go..dual plate Single plate..
