The only issue I'm having is occasionally an image will be turned 90 degrees when it's posted to a mail list. Other than that, it's really fast and easy.

Can't see it for whatever reason..

That's the first thing I tell new riders. Pretend you are invisible. If you expect a car to slow down or swerve to miss you, you are seriously screwing up.

Removing the fairing is a piece of cake. You can tie it down with Canyon Dancers, or some such if you don't want to remove it. Using the work stand lets you remove the rear wheel. To remove the front, put the rear in the vise on your lift.. you *do* have one, don't you.. tie it down in back and raise the front with a jack under the pan.

It is. I put LEDs in the tail lights, too. Mostly, I use the Lario for short trips, and over a period of time I'd notice the voltmeter going down. Putting on the brake lights would send the needle into the red. Now, it really makes no difference, and the needle stays centered. The LEDs just seem to take the load off the old wiring and connections, and I haven't had to put it on the charger since.

I put one of these https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01C1AOSVS/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o08_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 in the AeroLario for the princely sum of uh, 19 bucks. I made no attempt whatsoever to aim it, but I'll bet it would get me home if I were to get stuck some place after dark. Low beam High beam Plug and play.

Yay hoo has never worked for me. I still get the random message from the small block group at my email. I gave up trying to post. -
That is way too clean, Docc. You're just *asking* for an oil leak..
-
Never have heard of that one..
-
Yep, that's probably it.

FWIW, the Lario uses a front brake light switch that is.. uh.. unreliable at best. Finally put it in the lathe and cut it apart. Fixed the problem, and soft soldered it back together with my antique (naturally) big hunker soldering iron. It's been soldiering on for several years, now.

meticcio wins the internet today..

When I first saw the valve train of a Guzzi, I thought airplane engine. Sturdy..

That's easy to say.. but I too have been guilty of blasting my turn signal at a car.

There is just "something" really sexy about the way a girl rides a sport bike. Mac Dennis's now x wife Patty came in to camp on a Lario, and I had to have one. That was a "be still, my beating heart" moment. I don't look as good on one, though.. -
When I first got it, I was servicing it and saw the pushrods looked "different" and the valve clearances were way too tight. (!) Pete had intimated that he thought the original owner had the heads done by Mike Rich, so wondering what to do, I emailed him. Nothing. I *hate* bothering people, but finally called him. He was gracious, and asked me to send him a picture, so I did. He called back and said they were his titanium pushrods all right, and should be adjusted to .002 and .003". He asked about it, and I told him I knew nothing (my normal state of being) except Pete got it from a Dr. in New Hampshire. He said he remembered that engine, but he didn't put it together, so knew nothing about it. He did say they were among the best flowing Guzzi heads he'd ever done, and apparently after rummaging through records told me the numbers on what they flowed which I immediately forgot. At the time, I wasn't concerned about it, just wanted to make sure I wasn't going to burn some valves. Rummaging through my maintenance records, this was 7-4-10.

Mike Rich told me the Mighty Scura has the best flowing Guzzi 2V heads he's ever done. He keeps records..

Will do.

I don't see why it wouldn't..

Anyone want a super-cheap, bagged up Norge for touring?

I don't think the key number would make any difference. You have to know the user code.
