We remove them and the 20 feet of hoses that cause vacuum leaks, and dispose of them in an environmentally correct manner. Plug the nipples the hoses were hooked to, and you're good to go.

I really doubt the pump is failing. I'm betting it was the relay.. A little grease is normal. Don't worry, be happy.

For whatever reason, it was starving of fuel. Wear your damn ear plugs or one of these days the ringing won't stop. Trust me on this. The manual petcock tends to stick, and it can take a wrench to move it off of open. Carefully, of course..

Absolutely. That just *may* be your low rpm running issue. Look for cracks around the throttle body clamps, too. Now that footpeg vibrating thing.. if it is the *right* peg, it's your U joint telling you to replace it.

I would imagine that once you do a good tuneup, it'll be fine. Suspension? I don't know what bike you have, but I'd think supple would be a good thing. The footpeg buzzing is no doubt the throttle bodies being out of sync. See tuneup. If I were a betting man, I'd bet it'll make it.

The 02s and onward are doable. The Kid said he couldn't grease the U joint on his red frame V11, so I tackled it with a grin. I couldn't do it, either.. Yeah, you're going to have to pull the wheel.

I would think it would be strong enough for that job. Austin, the young man that runs my cnc mill, has a 3D printer, and he's always making things for the shop. Depending on what material is used, it can be pretty durable.

Many aircraft engines use brass nuts on the exhaust. They won't rust to the stud and become a bolt. Spring washers work fine until they don't. They'll eventually break and leave a loose fastener.

Good luck, and *probably* a new voltage regulator to boot.

It's hard to consider being a parts supplier for Guzzis. There is really no market to pay for tooling, etc.

The shifter return spring is *really* heavy. That, combined with the heavy pawl spring causes a divot in the shifter pawl where the spring is heavily loaded on the down shift. It can hang up there. You'll probably want to put in one of the new lighter unbreakable pawl springs, and blueprint the preselector mechanism per the thread by Lucky Phil.

Like painting, tank lining is all about the prep. Of course, you have to use premium materials, too.

It's actually pretty easy. I did a tutorial on WG on lining a Rosso Corsa's tank with Caswell epoxy. The last I knew, it was still fine. Also saved an "unfixable" Quota tank with the same stuff. $42. Cheap. (Guzzi content)

Uhh, I pay 80 cents a gallon not to use it. That said, here in corn country non ethanol fuel is almost non existent. A guy has to use it when venturing away from the one station that has it locally. Really, I don't see any performance loss, but it *will* cause your tank to swell, and bubble the finish.

Oh, I have.. a fair amount..but it's pretty tame compared to the SoCal canyons. I've been spoiled. This was on the last ride of the Mighty Scura in the Santa Monica Mountains. If you look carefully, you can see the road a couple of thousand feet below. Also, I have to negotiate the Indy "ant farm" between here and there. It takes me two hours to get anywhere good, ride for a bit and two hours back. It's just *not* a good place to ride a Monza.
