Pix on WG if anyone needs one..
  4. It's a small block..and again unless it's a trick of the lighting, the exhaust is in a different spot than the Lario head.
  5. When you get to 10, I'll look into it.
  6. Maybe it's just the shadow, but I'm pretty familiar with Lario valve covers..
  7. I don't recognize the valve cover.
  8. In that case, I could make some if the Philippines solution doesn't work.
  9. Everybody knows Pete's from Austria..
  10. Back in the early 50s we played croquet on the front lawn. It was a rather civil game.. but no telling how it's played in Austria.
  11. Yeah, but he says he put a new one on it.
  12. Pete sez there is a "Klingerlight" or some such gasket that is a metal sandwich. I looked at MG Cycle and didn't see anything like that.
  13. The big block gaskets tend to get sucked in when on and off the throttle hard. You can either ride more sanely.. Ok, not at option.. or think about gluing the gasket to the valve cover with aviation permatex or some such. The Kid discovered this on our trip to the Tn./ Carolina area.. 2017-06-04_01-31-41 by Charles Stottlemyer, on Flickr
  14. As you are from Holland, and English is probably not your first language, do you mean valve cover gasket instead of head gasket? It is very uncommon to blow a head gasket.
  15. Relay 46 and fuse F2 power the injectors and ignition. Apparently, the ecu is ok because you have spark without compression. Can it be as simple as a weak battery? Load test it. If that's not it, I would certainly suspect 46 and F2. Maybe as simple as corroded relay base or fuse connections? Corrosion at any place in that system, including ignition switch? Getcha a can of DeOxit, go over *everything* electrical, put new plugs in it. If that's not what it is, it's over my head.. good luck.
  16. Pretty bike..
  17. Perfect, did you get quotes? I have to assume that water jetting stainless steel is less expensive than milling aluminum? Heaven's no. Pete's making some, isn't he? It's his intellectual property. I have no problem making one for the Kid, but what Guzibits has done is just plain wrong.
  18. The one I made for the Kid was 1/16" aluminum. As far as I know, it's still ok.
  19. Like I said, I have the code. I could make one today, but I'm not going to unless Pete is on board 100%.
  20. Gulp. I had to google star picket. That would probably smart..
  21. Stainless steel would be a female dog to machine. I'd go with laser or water jet. I just happen to have a water jet source. I made one for myself a few years ago, and have the code. I would never do what Guzzibits did, but would make some with Pete's permission.
  22. I wonder which guy was Luigi?
  23. Hi, Eddy.. Just spent several minutes going through your projects. Still grinning over the use of very modern and very old techniques of fabrication. Some of that machinery is ancient, but of course will do the job. Using a 3D printer to make the patterns.. nice!
  24. The passion hasn't died for me.. but.. the Mighty Scura (the last of the *real* Guzzis) will more than likely be the newest I'll ever own in this go round. If they did come out with a modern LeMans before my riding days are over though.. I'd probably have one.
