  1. Rows of seating, normally around a sporting event. Each row is successively higher.
  2. I'm sure that 51 had nyloc nuts. A close friend was just narrowly missed by the debris, btw. Nyloc nuts "can" be reused, but the number of times is up in the air so to speak. It's up to the mechanic that puts it on. Back in the day, fiber lock nuts were one use only.
  3. I've always liked the NEP, too. Used it on several bikes.
  4. I just went for a putt on the Monza yesterday. It had been sitting since January since I charged and conditioned it with the Odyssey charger. It was going down rapidly last fall.. Started right up. The Lario is on the schedule today. I fully expect it to be fine, too. Yes, this thread has been worth it for me. 4 batteries that act like they are new. Priceless. Well, $400..
  5. Here is the million plus spring. I edited the picture to make the wear a *little* more noticeable. You can see a very light shiny area where the straight arm wears on the coil, and the area yours is worn. 2018-04-12_09-50-13 by Charles Stottlemyer, on Flickr Edit: If you click on the image, it will take you to Flickr, then clicking on it again will blow it up.
  6. DeCaliforniaized a bunch of rusty/corroded fasteners on the Mighty Scura with a kit from Stainless cycle. Looks a nice...
  7. I don't particularly like it either, but it works.
  8. I'm just looking for why yours failed like that. There should be more than plenty of space for the stock spring in there. Is the long arm tweeked? Something must be causing the spring to sit at an angle on the shaft. (?)
  9. What Marty sez. There are also "seal savers" I think they are called that can be installed, if there is one manufactured for that size. Very thin..
  10. There "should" be plenty of room for the 3 coil spring, unless something is not right. From memory that distance was .240". The new 3 coil spring is .071"x 3= .213". I posted a picture of one installed many pages back. Edit: Ah, here it is on page 9
  11. Wow! That's crazy.. I'm not familiar with galassetti.
  12. Welcome to the V11 forum. If I understand you correctly, someone wants to buy the original mufflers that are still installed on your bike? I'm guessing that you are not in the US? In that case, I don't have a clue what they are worth where you are. I have a set of new ones in storage that I would ask $100 US for, but wouldn't expect to get. If someone *needed* them and couldn't afford to pay for them, I would give them away.
  13. A picture can be worth a thousand words. Thanks, Marty..
  14. From memory.. always dangerous with me.. it is the metal gear that fails. Back in the day, Greg Field posted a method of cutting a window in the case, lubricating the gears, and closing it up. It supposedly fixed it. There used to be a tutorial on WG, but it left with a server crash..
  15. I haven't watched golf since I was a kid, but the Masters was really good. Snow this morning. Again. I get it, Mother Nature.. you're upset. Enough, already..
  16. That's 8. I'll inquire with the water jet shop to see if they want to mess with it. Don't send any money yet..
  17. I can't imagine doing it in the bike. Out of the bike.. maybe. If you did all the prep.. and *serious* prep it would be. How about soda blast?

All my cutter said was, "Don't get 300 miles away and realize you won't be able to ride home.."
  19. *I'm no electrician* but I'd look at the red/white and red/black if it is wired like the schematic I'm looking at.
  20. If you would happen to source a new ITI, there is a method of cutting them open and lubing that stupid gear. That seems to fix them.
  21. Buells used the same unit.. except I don't know if they had the smoked lens. They used to be cheap at a Harley dealer.
  22. That $800 price isn't out of line. I know.. just how much labor can you do on a motorcycle?? Lots. Trust me. The chemicals are outrageous, too.
  23. Ok, that's 5..
  24. Looks like $13.50 was what shipping overseas cost last time. The part was $50.
