  1. I agree, in the pictures the bike just looks right. Total Italian beauty...
  2. I think 12 and 13 are right and left. Those are similar to what I am thinking. Simple sheet metal brackets mounting in the rear. I need to see the fairing mocked up to figure whether they would work or not. I also need to see if the fairing is stiff enough or needs more support. Hopefully I can find a way that I can mount the fairing and be able to do a valve adjust without removing it. I got an email from MotoForza this morning saying my ordered had shipped. So far, I feel it has been good communication. There English is far better than my Czech!
  3. Does anyone have a picture of it? What material is it made of?
  4. The seat in the picture you posted doesn't fit very well. When I looked at it I thought it was a very amateurish job. Are you looking for the color or the shape?
  5. That was the thread! Thanks.
  6. I have been looking for the last few days for info on upgrading the forks. I could swear there was a nice write up on using a GSXR front end as well as a thread on making the Marocchi's work better. Am I hallucinating?
  7. I doubt they stock the TPS harness, rather, they just make them up to order. It is about a ten minute job for a proficient tech and you needn't waste storage space on something that you may sell two or three of per year. That said, I would order one, I have GuzziDiag on my list of things to attempt.
  8. As of yesterday this is still available.
  9. So, how do you actually order that thing. Email them and ask? Their site doesn't list any dealers...
  10. Yeah, the proof is in the pudding. As long as the shape is good and the windscreen fits well I can add reinforcement.
  11. Wraps are fairly thick 0.003 or so and soft. That would increase the diameter of the fork 0.006". You would have to avoid wrapping where the triple clamps mate to the fork. I can imagine lots of badness trying to clamp over the vinyl.
  12. I didn't catch your location. I totally get it now.
  13. I haven't put a lot of thought into the mount yet. Once I have the fairing in hand I will mock it up and see what makes sense. I will probably use 1/4" steel rod to make a trellis with 1/8" sheet for tabs and weld it up. If I get really adventurous I will try to weld it up from aluminum, but I make more holes than welds when I try aluminum. Thanks for the info about the inboard valve cover bolts. That will certainly be on the list. I received an email from MotoForza this morning. They noticed that I only ordered 2 screen bolts. The picture on the website makes it look like they come in sets of four. I asked them to add 6 more to the order. 2 euros per bolt is a bit steep, but I appreciate that they noticed and asked. That is a good sign regarding customer service. I need to order an acrylic drill bit. I have had enough bad experiences in the past drilling lexan with 60 degree bits. I do not want to hose this one up.
  14. I fell in love with a V11 with Laverda SFC750 Fairing. Tonight I ordered a fairing and windscreen from Motoforzafairings.com in the Czech Republic. I don't expect it will arrive for several weeks given the distance. It will require a custom mounting bracket. The final color with be a deep blue. I will document the process and let's hope this doesn't turn into a fiasco.
  15. i just pulled the trigger on the Laverda SFC fairing from MotoForza. I will start a new thread to document the saga...
  16. Why the antipathy towards the factory stand?
  17. Pulling the rear wheel with a swingarm stand requires more disassembly than using the factory stand.
  18. Thanks!
  19. Not enough V11s to make it practical to market a bespoke part.
  20. Yes, bone stock Ballabio.
  21. A volunteer! Please measure the height of the lower porkchop bolt off the floor when stand up. Also, how high is the rear tyre off the ground? 11" (30cm) from floor to center of bolt. 1.75-2 (4.4-5cm) inches below the rear tire.
  22. I like that. Adapting the electrics could be a bit of a chore. I also found this: http://www.aerostich.com/stopper-led-brake-light-versa-light.html
  23. I like my factory stand. It pays for itself very quickly.
  24. If you can run your bare finger down the edges without fear of getting cut, then it is deburred. This is very easy thing to do, don't skip it.
  25. That looks pretty nice, you know pricing for it?? Link is down I'm afraid.. This is a twelve year old thread. InTeam isn't in business anymore.
