  1. I assume you've checked the tyre pressures, I sold a Scura to a mate and shortly after he had some frightening handling which turned out to be a faulty steering damper, easy to remove it and rule it out

    MPH Speedo

Good luck with finding an ITI speedo that still works, I've just bought a Nero Corsa that was imported from Italy 5 years ago and it still had it's KPH speedo after 5 UK MOTs, I had a broken MPH speedo in stock so I cut it open and swapped the MPH face over, job done or you could just get an overlay sticker
  3. Clipon clamp size is 54mm
  4. You can still post pics direct to the site just resize them to 200kb then click on the thumbnail and it gets bigger
  5. 2004 Nero Corsa UK
  6. The bike you are buying has been converted to fork mounted headlamp, fairing and clocks probably because clipons would foul the original frame mounted ones, you can tell it has fork mounted kit because the clocks and fairing are turning with the steering, the cafe sport should have all this mounted to the frame on a cast aluminium bracket
  7. Great pics but is there a reason why you didn't just use the existing pin on the arm to hook the spring on to?
  8. And you would never be able to stop cos it's got no side stand !
  9. Work in progress now has a frame mounted headlamp
  10. I got my 45 degree bends from a UK seller on Ebay so probably not much use in the US, to fit those Leos get 48mm o/d and sleeve them with a short length of slotted 50mm o/d , the Delkevics are stock 50mm inlets, 50.8mm to be exact which is 2" in old money, your Leos should be 2" inlet i/d, just noticed that the Leos have spring hooks so you will need to slot the pipe and use clamps but make sure they are 50.8mm inlets first
  11. Here's the bike with the new Delkevics fitted, great sound without the baffles installed, £89 each and available in the US I think
  12. I've never been able to grease the front uj without removing the swingarm, it's only 3 more bolts and it's off
  13. Apparently if you have a spare spring under the seat it will never break, worked for me so far!
  14. As you can see from the photo 45 degrees works fine
  15. I've built a few V11 based cafe racer projects and thought I would pass on my solution to the hard to find and expensive after market exhaust options, the problem is finding the link pipes to fit a pair of slip on silencers, so I buy 45 degree mandrel s/s bends, 48mm o/d will fit inside the stock crossover then you need to sleeve it up to 50mm for most silencer inlets, or have the silencer made with 48mm inlets, alternatively buy the 45 degree bends at 54mm o/d and these will fit outside the stock crossover outlets, I've just ordered a pair of Delkevic s/s silencers 450mm long for £180 plus the link pipes are about £15 each from ebay, once you have fitted the 45 degree link pipes you can fit anything you want, the photo is a pair of cheap chinese s/s silencers
  16. Regarding the clutch slip have you checked that there is free play in the lever, the lever has an adjuster in it, no clearance will wear the plates so it may be too late but it's a simple check
  17. Listed on Ebay UK it's in fair used condition and was fitted to my Nero Corsa when I bought it, £200 to members
  18. Nice bike I've owned 2 Cafe Sports in the UK there's not many here, no problems on a late V11 except the gear shift spring will probably break at some point, there's an effective mod now using a coil spring

    Nero Cafe

This was a Nero Corsa but don't worry it can all be reversed
  22. Nice work Gritman having built a couple of V11 specials in the past I've got another one in my head that needs to be done, problem is after owning 10 V11s over the past few years I can't find a reasonably priced donor bike in the UK, been looking for 6 months but they are all asking silly money like the one on Ebay at the moment for £9k
  23. Try removing the starter and give it a good clean up first
  24. Not sure where you are in the UK but if you want to bring the bike to me I will run through the valves and the TPS with you
  25. Probably easier to remove the swingarm
