It happened to me and other V11s the same day in the Spanish mountains after a lot of downhill bends but never in the UK

Cost £80 and there's a choice of colours inc all black, one small issue the rubber seal around the outside won't fit in as there's not enough gap with the Oberon, Phil, will the seal fit in on the MC kit?

Half turn to unscrew it and yes I realize that you can't lose the stock filler but it looks so cool

Oberon part number 0421 listed for Aprilia and Triumph fits the V11

They are mistral and came from teo lamers in Holland. They call them stirup high mount and there's a set on ebay

Fitted this leather seat cover found on Ebay UK for £44 any colour you like it just staples over the stock cover

Mine broke last week on the way to Germany, it didn't even make the Dover ferry, I tried ordering from Gutsibits and they did not seem to have one listed for a Le Mans with ITI speedo without the angle drive, the top connector on the ITI cable is smaller than the Veglia ones, so I ordered the one for the early model that has an angle drive and ITI speedo, as I had a new angle drive in stock I just fitted it with the new cable and it's fine so far

I've had the Apex adjustable clipons for a while now and they are spot on, I have the clamps facing backwards to bring the bars closer, fit them above the top yoke just like the stock clamps, I had to drop the forks about 10mm as the Apex clamps are deeper, you will need a longer brake pipe also, order 54mm clamps and 4inch risers

I picked up a complete assembly on ebay you will also need the deep hub. Gutsibits had a used clutch a while back. To buy all the parts new is over £1500

Ok I have had no reply from Oberon so after doing a bit of research I have bought a cheap cap just in case it didn't fit, it is for an Aprilia Mille up to 03 and some Triumphs, as you can see it fits fine, it cost £30 from the Bay

2005 Le Mans Nero Corsa in the UK

You can find a good standard V11 Sport for £3k, the V11 Le Mans can be found for a bit more money and has a good fairing for touring, that's why I have one, these bikes are basically the same spec, pre 2001 they had a narrower rear wheel, silver forks engine and wheels after that black, then you have the limited edition bikes, Nero Corsa, Rosso Corsa, Scura, Tenni, Rosso Mandello, and Cafe Sport again basically all similar spec but some have Ohlins suspension, the Cafe Sport and the Ballabio have normal alloy handlebars the rest have clipons If you want a limited edition V11 you won't have much choice in the UK, I paid £6k for my Nero and that Tenni for sale is top money but where do you find another one, that said a standard V11 Sport will do the same thing for less money. Hope this helps with your decision

Scott, buying a Guzzi is not the 'sensible thing' to do, you buy one because you want one not because you need one, if you have any second thoughts then buy a Yamazuki and you will never break down and it will run smooth forever without getting your hands oily, it is my Cafe Sport you are thinking about buying and it's difficult to compare it to others cos it's the only one for sale in the UK, I am not trying to talk you out of it but I think you should know what you are getting into.

It's to cover the gap where the light switch was on early bikes Stew, your 04 should be the same with no switch

I was going to suggest that the new plates were too thick, that would give you the problem, but I've never heard of it before, just done one myself with plates from Gutsibits

I have fitted a 180 to the early narrow wheel that should have a 170 and all it does is distort the tread profile,The 190 will work but the tread area will be pulled around by the narrow wheel so you will never get near the edge of the tread, it should clear the drive shaft but check it for clearance, if it's free use it.

I removed this from an 02 that I restored over the winter as I put the bike back to stock exhaust and airbox, complete with USB cable, it will already have a V11 map installed, £100 inc postage in the UK

I'm thinking of going the same way although I seem to have the only fully working ITI speedo left but for how long? I spoke to Moore Speed Racing last week and he asked me to email my requirements but they haven't got back to me yet, I was looking at the Swift speedo and tach as they do a pulse unit that replaces the speedo cable
