Hey Scud I’ve had a few springs from you for bikes here in the uk and I’m in need of another one if you can oblige Steve

I’ve had 2 Ballabios that suffered with vague gear changes, don’t know why it effects this particular model both were fixed by adjusting the ratchet arm inside the cover by turning the eccentric adjustment and centreing the travel and making sure it clears the casing at the end of travel

It’s not a broken spring or it wouldn’t shift at all, more likely the eccentric shaft needs adjustment but also fit Scuds spring while you’re there

This has been amongst my spares for years, is it the last one in existence?

I’m riding with a guy on one today same colour, he’s upgraded the engine and it’s still slow but as you say good value at £5000 here in the uk

Just listed the Ballabio on eBay to test the water

Paradiso the supply of bikes has dried up as people are hanging on to them or trying to get high prices, I’ve bought tatty ones for £1500 and ohlins bikes for £6k, the highest price I’ve sold for is £6.5k, a nice cafe sport sold for £7k last week as the buyer called me for parts and he confirmed it your tenni is a fair price maybe the insurance history isn’t helping but that’s nonsense really, it just takes time due to so few buyers in the uk

Yes I saw your bike Paradiso, I’ve bought restored and sold 15 V11s over the last 10 years and they are never easy to sell, never many for sale in the uk but not many buyers either

I'm thinking about replacing my Ballabio with a new V85TT and wondering if people are actually paying the high asking prices for V11s in the UK 05 red Ballabio with 14k miles and loads of C/F upgrades and a new shock last week

I have a factory stand but find this one easier to use, drilled the swingarm and bolted on bobbins

Ordered a new Hagon now

No just 2 rustier ones I’ve found them on eBay in the past, if it’s not too bad clean it up and paint it

I had a spare hugger so I cut the centre piece out and cable tied it to the inside of the swingarm, you can just see it in the pic i think it’s important not to cover the swingarm as I’ve seen a few rusty ones here in the uk due to never being cleaned

The bolt can’t be bent too much or it wouldn’t go through, can’t you straighten it? The shock doesn’t rotate on the bolt, the shock bush is clamped by the swingarm when you tighten the bolt and the shock rotates on the bush as the inner part it clamped
