  6. I painted a headlamp fairing to match the bike and the result was good, I ordered it in a rattle can it was green base coat and matt clear coat
  7. RS Bike paint Bryan I got that green from them when I had a Griso SE
  8. Found these Mistrals made from pure unobtanium on German Ebay, also c/f side panels, GB bellypan and front mudguard
  9. That wouldn't fit the ITI speedo on the V11, it has a thread like the early Veglia speedo the ITI knob has a tiny screw securing it

    Shock

I meant why don't they use a stainless bush, the bush is an interference fit in the eye so it's hard to see how water gets in and corrodes it anyway

    Shock

Looking at the cracked shock that I've just removed from my bike I too am not sure how this can be prevented, the corrosion that breaks the eye is between the steel outer bush and the alloy eye, why isn't it stainless steel?

    Another V11

Hey Guzzimax nice collection of V11s, I've owned Cafe Sport and Ballabio before and they don't really ride any differently just more comfort and the frame mounted fairing seems to work better because its further forward
  21. Looking good Bryan,
  22. Thanks for that, I will have a think if I want to go any further or sell it as it is, its just a drip but it drips onto the Quat D exhaust box
  23. I've found the leak by putting some petrol in the gearbox and it leaks out of the second joint from the back quite low down so I'm sure it's not a cracked case, as the leak is so low down it leaks oil constantly onto the exhaust
  24. Thanks so the gearbox will need to be removed from the bike?
  25. I'm trying to sell this Greenie and it's got an annoying gearbox oil leak that's putting buyers off, I removed the very back plate and the oil is coming from the next joint, before I dive in what's involved in removing the next plate behind the gears?
