I'm looking for a pair of standard carbon fibre sleeved exhaust silencers in the UK 07976849955

Delkevic don't make the link pipes for Guzzis, my link pipes are 2" 45 degree mandrel bends in stainless steel, and the hangers are aftermarket items for a Ducati, the mounting holes spacing is the same, cost £40 for the hangers, £24 for the link pipes and £230 for the slip on Delkevic mufflers https://delkevic.co.uk/silencers My silencers are PR1868, look on the US website at single mufflers 18" carbon fibre oval here's a better photo

V11 Sport Scura - 8-valve engine (4 per cylinder)

Hi nice to see your lovely Scura, I've owned most of the V11s in the UK but never seen yours before, I'm interested in doing the integral rear lamp job on my lightly modded Nero Corsa, can you point me towards which lamp unit you used please -
When I've had them really rusty and seized I have welded a washer in the outer race, then you can drift it out easily as the heat from the weld frees it, you can't get a drift on the race without the washer welded in
-
I removed these from 2 V11 starter motors that were playing up, they are the grease shields that cover the reduction gears they had come adrift and were shorting out the windings on the armature both starters were making a wizzing noise in operation, both now work fine without them
-
yup, great idea. those hanger brackets look easy to make and unlimited positioning options The hanger brackets are aftermarket Ducati ones the bolt holes happen to be in the same place as the V11

It's probably just the 30 amp fuse and holder that is the problem, once they get a bit loose and dirty the fuse overheats but does not blow, clean and tighten the holder clips fit a new fuse, or do away with the fuse, when I've had this problem on other bikes I cut out the fuse and connect the wires together, ran a bike for 2 years like this, the Nero I have now has been no problem so far

Been on a few European trips with him and Karen, off again in September to Portugal

Not sure if it's too late or this may not be the correct bit you need https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Moto-Guzzi-V11-LeMans-Right-Hand-Front-Fairing-Panel-Red-New-but-marked/263064578561?epid=7004390604&hash=item3d3fdeea01:g:uJcAAOSwDrNZVmqW

I think there's more chance of the stock spring to sit at an angle on the shaft than the new spring as the new spring is a closer fit having an extra coil, problem is I didn't notice the flat until I'd put the bike back together
-
I'm not knocking the new spring Chuck I hope they last forever but this wear could be a reason for failure on some bikes. Looking at your photo of the 3 coil spring the end coil seems to lie nice and flat against the ratchet arm so not rubbing at one point
-
I had a close look at the 2 springs that I have replaced this week and 1 of them has a definite flat worn on one side, has anyone noticed this? the one with the wear came out of a Cafe Sport that has had at least 3 breakages, the other spring shows no sign of wear marks, I've tried to get a pic of it, the wear is at the bottom of the coil

From the album: Nero Corsa UK

Yes, but not all selectors have this, some have a roll pin that realistically cant be removed. Ciao Never seen the roll pin is that on the early ones without the bracket? if so that's probably why I've not seen it, they don't seem to break their springs for some reason
