  1. No no, just pointing to it, in case anyone would like to refer to it or say if their opinion has changed. It's interesting to hear now from people who have some riding experience of the bike, one year on. I was asking, in the other thread, what the bike should be tested against. Looking further into Bike magazine, I see they have a Venn diagram type chart, showing what classification and overlaps new bikes fall into. From memory, they have the Griso along with Yam MT-01 and the Harley Street Rod. So those could well be 2 of the other bikes in the December issue Big Test.
  2. So: seems like you're having second thoughts?
  3. I'm sure that are a variety of radios and a variety of ways that they may be mounted. Could I suggest that you open a new thread and ask for advice before doing this?
  4. But in different time zones, I suspect. Time for bed
  5. NH says, in the interview: that's exactly what he has said to DP Says he needs him there S'pose DP could swat VR off the track. That would make for an electric final.
  6. :!:
  7. Yep. I used a wrist watch, taped on. It was good, though be warned, when I got a 'proper motorbike clock' and took the wrist watch off, the tape took the black paint on the top yoke with it. The fittings that came with the 'proper clock' wern't terribly useful for my bike. I adapted one of them a bit and screwed it on to one of the top clamps. There's a sharp edge on the clock surround and it gouged into the top clamp, 'cause of vibration, so I had to add a bit of metal strip to shield the alloy. It's actually hard to read – the hands and clock face are not a good design for their purpose. There was very limited choice. Took it off to drop the fork legs and haven't put it back on. Tempted to tape the wristwatch on again.
  8. There was SOME DISCUSSION along these lines, this time last year. A year on, my opinion might have softened a bit. I mean, at first look, you have a certain opinion of this guy's fashion sense but that softens with time, as you get used to him.... Doesn't make it right though. Hmmmmm...... NB Obviously, as with the 'Breva bashing', no offence is meant.
  9. Look for a Rawlbolt May be called a Rawbolt somewhere , or shield anchor I think you need to hit harder. Make sure that the wheel hub is properly, well supported.
  10. Ok ok, best make amends and rebalance the quotient Here's a cycle clock, er, a clock cycle you can add a trailer for 24-bit accuracy Value of a Buell when the clock battery starts running down Invention for remote checking of time, when you're on the move think that pulled us back from the brink – just in time?
  11. It's all falling into place – the Buell is Barbie, right? Mass centralisation and all that...
  12. Ok: you were a bit loose, lifted yer bandana, went to hang with the hogs – and a salesman saw you coming. The rest is history. Seems like it coulda just as easily been an 883 Sportster, or whatever wasn't selling well that season. Lucky for the salesman – he showed you the one with the clock... right, gotta run before the kitchen implements start flying... and before you reply, Nog – remember this is the Technical forum
  13. Aint you got a Ducati you could sell? It must be worth about £5k – if you haven't put too many miles on it yet.
  14. As a connoisseur of kitchen implements, I know a crock-pot when I see one I can also recognise a cracked pot
  15. Genius bodge! Why didn't anyone think of this before. There was a device made up (by Mr Angry?) to do a similar type of operation – but a suitable sized rawlbolt – that must be worth trying.
  16. 3/ You're a lady?
  17. ok Where can I get that £7,498.50?
  18. EXTRAORDINARY last lap and finish "Shakespeare (who he?) couldn't have written this!" EXPLOSIVE, SPECTACULAR
  19. What! Pressure, pressure! Don't feel sorry for Honda, but pity for NH Team Yamaha V Team Honda only one is holding it together at the moment (only lap 10 so we'll see later, when the fat lady sings)
  20. very, very spooky All the evidence points to Antonio being the missing link
  21. This is prob. more impressive than the link I posted in that other thread. Jake on uke Of course, if Antonio had a ukelele, it would be this size:
  22. I like this. lovely Ok I know this is not GUZZI. I was reminded of it when I was looking to check the size of a few different movies.
  23. Thank goodness for that. Could you not get her to post here instead of you? ok, better put a just in case of any misunderstanding....
  24. – the language thing again – I didn't mean that your question might be silly. I meant that my question, above, might be silly as you almost certainly meant that you wanted to upload your own video...but I thought that I would check just in case you meant the other thing. What size is your video?
