  1. Here you are. Perfect for ya and not complicated at all. People will admire your unique display
  2. Yes, the resemblance is uncanny
  3. Could be a silly question, but just checking. You mean you have your own video that you want to upload, or are you referring to another one that is already on the web?
  4. What time was it?
  5. I've got a new idea, in the replacement brake lever area. Looks like this: I just need a hinge, some bits of pipe, a bunch of wee white arrows and a nice leather brogue
  6. watch out for the wheelies click on the video should get HelicopterJim wettin' himself
  7. Hoho, I knew you'd be thinkin' that well, I'd only need another £7,498.50
  8. Apart from anything else, I was thinking about ever-skinnier aluminium bike frames – but I suppose we don't know how long they last for yet. Yeah, I'd rather have a steel trellis anyway. And ye olde Reynolds 531 is still as good as new.
  9. & it's added at a 1:4 ratio! Let's see, petrol 5 quid a gallon: funny stuff, 160 quid for 0.78 gallon aye why not? Fill her up.
  10. & what about this theory that you're a better rider if you don't use your brakes anyway? For the life of me I can't remember what it's called, Crash or, no, something else... I think it's largely a theory for Americans. Prob. something to do with Keith Code.
  11. Your Guzzi's got hp? Ssssshhh. No one need ever know.
  12. sounds ominous what have you done with him?
  13. Special brew for JRT, more like. This is the sort of ointment he'd add to his uisge
  14. Jumpin Jehosophat, what's this! High performance fuel treatment, produces up to 40hp. Produces strong midrange torque. This product is shipped in special containers for safety! Only £160 for a tin. BOOM
  15. First of all, are you just aiming to change the one bearing? It would be better if you replace both sides at this time. And if you do that, you might find that it's easier to get the other bearing out first. Though I don't think so. I think that the left side is the easiest one to access. Someone can confirm... There's no reason to suspect that you don't have the factory spacer, yet. Don't know what you mean by slots. There aren't slots in it. There are rings pressed on to it, to keep it in the middle but you won't see these 'til you get a bearing out. It is / has to be pretty much the same diameter, so there isn't much access space. I've used various things as drifts, including a screwdriver with cut-down blade that's bent /angled-out at the end, so that it can get a touch on the edge of the inner bearing ring. Work it bit by bit. Other devices are described in previous threads.
  16. It's getting to be more of a concern as a few more (Scura) people report problems. However most are still riding around ok and enjoying the thing. – Watch this space. There is no recall. – Don't bother watching this space. But there's loads of aluminium stuff out there and it lasts for years and decades: in motorbikes, cars, boats, planes, buildings... safety-critical tools & equipment... etc... Plus, you could say the same of any material. Don't look in here. :!:
  17. good to hear. If I had the choice, I would have ridden the Griso to the Erin – but I haven't tried either of them.
  18. Well – I hope the Police don't stop and search you then.
  19. Why? Did you sniff it all in one go?
  20. You bad boys out there have so degraded this Forum that I thought, from the title, this was going to be another one of those 'Hooters' and whatsits threads.
  21. It's not the overflow, it's the other (redundant) pipe that the query is about.
  22. Why? Riding position or performance/handling? Did you get a demo ride? I had hoped that Corsa Italiana might ride one over to the Erin earlier this year, but Paul came on the Breva again. When I asked, he said, because the Breva rides so well. The implication was that the Griso would have been a worse, more uncomfortable ride.
  23. You and your big clock and whatnot!
