  1. Hmm hard or soft maple? It's hard to know. Better to go for mileage or for better lean angle? What size do you reckon?
  2. can anyone recommend a good oil for motorbikes ?
  3. Close. The Heavy has potatoes in it. Enzo prepares the Heavy project. BTW What's the best material for a chopping board?
  4. yeah, but sales of burnt-out oil warning light replacements will plummet
  5. Heat the oil in a wide pot over a medium flame. When hot, put in the minced onions and garlic. Stir and fry until the mixture is a rich medium brown shade. Turn heat to medium low and add the coriander, cumin, (NOT the roasted cumin), cayenne, and turmeric. Stir for a few seconds. Now put in the finely chopped tomatoes. Stir for a few seconds. Now put in the finely chopped tomatoes. Stir and fry until the tomatoes are well amalgamated with the spice mixture and brown lightly. Add the drained chickpeas and 1 cup water. Stir. Add the ground roasted cumin, amchoor, red pepper, garam masala, salt, and lemon juice. Stir again. Cover, turn heat to low, and simmer for 10 minutes. Remove cover and add the minced green chili and grated ginger. Stir and cook, uncovered, for another 30 seconds.
  6. I'm thinking that Guzzirider is probably headed your way – so he isn't here to see that he's been photo-insulted (above). Drat! He's hiring a lady's-bike and trolling around the West. For your sake, I hope that he doesn't mess with the gene-pool. BTW Is it possible to attach perfumed talcum powder to an internet post?
  7. "over there be England where the nancy boys come from" "and only the other day (and I don't know how the divil they got here, constable) I swear I saw...blah, blah...dregs...blah... ...big girls' blouses..."
  8. but nobody forces you to come here every day, Martin I know... avoid 24/7 and ONLY visit the Tenni Forum

The story is in the links, above: well, some of it anyway. The links are the 'etc.' lines.
  13. The atmosphere was good and that's a big part of the reason for going. The downside always is that you can only see a short section of road. I wasn't there long enough to get around different vantage points. At least the circuit was short enough that bikes came around pretty quickly. I could see them in the distance coming down a 'ski-hill' and then there was a run up to the above corner and they could then be seen off down the straight and tearing up the next hill. The feature race was a cracker, with very close dicing between the front 3: Raymond Porter, John Borrows and Paul Cranston. The lead was swapped at this corner(above photos), among other places. Watch out for Porter, the winner, at Skerries if he's there.

Hey BJ – wonderin' where you were –
  18. ...and the way that they doctored your photograph!!!!
  19. I'm about to find out. I've had absolutely no time so haven't touched it. I was going to let it sit 'til I can fix it, but I'm taking a few hours out now to run over and see a bit of that new Bush Roadrace. I'll take the V.11. Could be second gear gear all the way down the motorway! So I'll set the video for Assen and be off...
  20. Well G.rider – getting all sweaty and excited about the new bike? 'Spose you're wearing your right now, in anticipation? Have jolly fun
  21. This is an interesting bit: "Therefore, the article on the front page of MCN from April 5, 2006 is mistaken in saying that we will .... This counts as a real “bufala" (bufala in Italian literally means buffalo but it is used colloquially to mean a mistake) and does not correspond to our actual plans for the bike. This is not the first time that the news on the cover of MCN is lacking in a factual basis. For example, just take a look at the MCN article that supposedly anticipates a new version of the 999 - this is just a cut and paste combining the 999, 916 and Desmosedici and absolutely was not designed by us. I would like to use this opportunity to set things straight giving you the real facts about the bike." I suppose this is the American MCN, but same probably holds true for UK's MotorCycle News and the 'interesting' Moto Guzzi 'pictures' – off-roader and all....
  22. Coloured tyres – phooey! Seashell decoration is the next level.
