The bike is a Pannonia T1, 250cc single
"The engine, modern for that period, was a single-cylinder with 14 hp, primary drive with gears (when the old chains for the primary drive were still very diffused), and the singular feature of the crankshaft rotating in the direction opposite to the usual sense."
The Pannonia was produced in Hungary between 1951 and 1975. Initially two-stroke singles were built but in the end a range of practical two-stroke 250cc twins were produced. In 1971 Pannonia ventured westards to the Bol d'or endurance race. Two pannonias placed 4th and 5th in the event!
