  1. just happen to be listening to it at this very minute. The cosmic synchronicity of V.11World You aren't watching Howl's Moving Castle as well, by any chance?
  2. *snort* you have to be a Supreme Master of Time to make that prank work in web wide world. Jolly japes time runs out at 12 noon. > In the United Kingdom, Australia and New Zealand it is accepted that if somebody pulls an April Fool's Trick after 12pm (mid-day), then the person pulling the trick is actually considered the fool. So, you tread on dangerous ground my whirleybird friend, as we can all see that you posted at 5.30pm. This seems to be conclusive evidence for a deadly boomerang-gotcha. Oh to be in Haggisland, as it seems that in Scotland, April Fool's Day is actually celebrated for two days. The second day is devoted to pranks involving the posterior region of the body. It is called Taily Day. The origin of the "kick me" sign can be traced to this observance. And why not. We can be sure that Bob&Serge have been having an absolutely frolicksome time today – today being Poisson d'Avril, or "April Fish." In keeping with tradition, Serge will have taped a picture of a fish on the back of young Bob and all the beasts of The Barn will even now be crying "Poisson d'Avril".
  3. From Biesel's post, looks they're delivering Not much hope of a
  4. Hmmm. You mean tomorrow or the day after tomorrow? ChopperJim is insisting that it's already Sunday. Big J thinks that it's 3pm. I think you've well and truly stumped us now.
  5. I say that we all register and do a night raid, get some proper quack-philosophy conversation going over there. Serge is clearly out of his depth trying to run his own forum. I think I'll register as AdminPants. (Yes, I was tempted to say I'll register as Admin Jaap.)

  8. Hey there BigJ. Don't forget to put your clocks forward an hour tonight.
  9. good for the customer, bad for global you know what but let's leave that for the other thread. Don't know how it works for you, but those cheap prices aren't just so extremely cheap by the time taxes and charges are added on. 50p becomes £15 or £20 or something – which is still ridiculously cheap of course.
  10. I think you'll have found that it hasn't dried out later. Hailstones here.
  11. Get a grip big lad. You're the sort of boy who would land on the wrong strip, 6 miles too early. IT'S SATURDAY.See! Hmm.. is that the time!

    WTF?

What message are you seeing D.L.? I can view it with QT plug-in 7.0.4, but I guess it should work with earlier version than that. Why are you sticking with OS 10.2? Huge improvements with later versions. Here's one of the 'interesting pics on the movie:
  13. Ok so some more really generous clues then. These fine machines are relatives of the Quiz Bike. Now anyone worth their google-salt will get this.
  14. Wednesday! That's another 4 days. Ridiculous. You said 5 days – and that was about 6 days ago. Is there no respect for Rules, and such like, around here?
  15. Well... I got a bike with pointy-out cylinders, a Moto Guzzi V.11 so, as I wanted to find out a bit more about the workings of the beast, I typed Moto Guzzi V.11 into Google... What about you?
  16. was it frilled with lace?
  17. all is revealed Didn't know that Serge has his own Forum. Didn't know his surname either. S.L.'s Forum Very enterprising, but I'm afraid that it's crushingly boring. I might register.
  18. I can see you in one of these. Real racoon.
  19. Yummy, about time you made some use of that thing. Are you roasting some pommes de terre too?
  20. Who's asking, Frenchie?
  21. If the tv doc was anything to go by, they don't give jobs – they sell them, or at least crew have to pay for their own training etc (allegedly). Then, as the secret fiming showed, and the examiner actually said, the hardest thing about the qualifying exam was writing your name – as notes etc were allowed to be brought in to the exam.
