er.. say no more, indeed good luck.

Depends how much you changed your mind really. You could actually be in the wrong body now.

Lasertec, in the picture above, seems to be upgraded replacement for these. So looks like they would be a good choice.

There doesn't seem much point. It'll just scrape off again.

Yeah. That's the same sort of guy as the other lot (alledgedly)

Did anyone see the recent documentary on Ry*n Air's appalling (alledgedly) practices? Well what should happen here tonight? A Ry*n Air flight from Liverpool got clearance to land at Derry Airport. The pilot went ahead and landed. Only he landed six miles away from the airport, on a military base landing strip! Apparently it's understandable as, the incident "involved the aircraft landing at a runway exactly in line" with the airport's runway. A passenger said everyone was surprised when they realised what had happened. He said: "The pilot apologised and said, 'We may have arrived at the wrong airport'. "Everyone started laughing and thought it was a joke, then I saw for myself when I looked out and saw Army officers everywhere. The plane had been destined for City of Derry Airport "It was just unbelievable, I think the Army officers were shocked themselves (as) they were taking photographs. It was surreal."

Hmm.. what do you call that ink blot/smudge psychological test? Prob. should have posted this in the Moth Forum. Edit wow – there are only ten genuine ones. Good quiz subject. "Most people have heard of the Rorschach test (pronounced "ror-shock"), but few have ever seen a real Rorschach inkblot. The blots are kept secret. When you see an inkblot in a popular article on the test (as in the Encyclopaedia Britannica entry on the Rorschach test), it's a fake: it's an an inkblot, but not one of the inkblots. There are only ten Rorschach inkblots. Psychologists want the blots to remain a secret from the general public so that reactions to the blots will be spontaneous. Hermann Rorschach hoped these spontaneous reactions would yield valuable clues to the test subject's personality. Whether they do remains controversial. Many psychologists think the Rorschach test is hopelessly unreliable; others see it as one of the cardinal tools of modern psychodiagnosis. Even among those who acknowledge the value of the test, there is disagreement on interpretation of responses."

Come on, a bit of paint on the noggin never did Dame Barbara any harm

Good man goosey. Sorry, I mean, Bad man goosey. Good to see that's still going. I mean, bad to see that's still going. He's been at that for a few years now. Phew. -
I started to gather info related to the Scura Ohlins. See thread that I've bumped up: Ohlins Numbers It would be handy to try and keep the info together. Baldini has the Scura clutch thread somewhere too. I feel a Scura Forum coming on.

any more info to add to this? see threadMarch 2006

Well, I knew Baldini would say that – and seems others agree. Why do the manufacturers say 120s when they do make 110s? Desperately disappointed when I rode round to the tyre specialist today and found a sign on the door saying that they've closed down – stuff moved to one of the 'big name' suppliers. Yet another specialist service bites the dust. It's the equivalent of the way the supermarkets are wiping out the small grocers.

You and Superman both! The things people talk about on here! Try wearing your Ys under your trousers. More effective at keeping everything behaving and just generally, much more satisfactory all around. Especially if you're going to a formal affair.

When I looked at the bike this morning I realised that the straps do go under the spine frame, not round the steering head. And the rear attachment bolts onto the bike, you say? Interesting. Hope the fish enjoy their trips. Send some pics. I want to see the Wrasse riding pillion.

Tried it. Don't seem as good as it used to be: too watery.

Are 120s common replacements on ye olde LeMans wheel rims, circa 1980's? The manual specs say 100/90 tyre on front and 110/90 on rear. Looking at manufacturer's info, the tyre makers all list a 120/90 as the correct size for the rear. 100 on front. The tyre that is fitted is a 120. It just about clears the swingarm tubes. As the rubber is ten years old, better replace it. What works well on the older LeMans? The Metzeler Lasertecs look good. 110 or 120? 1982 Mklll

You're kinda lucky that Ratchet didn't give you his 'sane' reply on this subject. (See elsewhere) Never mind filters, you must tell me about the tyres you're using on those other bikes. I'll start another thread.

Use what you can get. Halfords among others should be able to supply your needs. Do you have a Halfords branch? Do you know what you're running on at the moment? No need to stick with Agip. I started on Castrol GTX for break-in period and would be happy enough to keep using it, but I then changed to a semi-synthetic. I've used Halfords own brand. Currently using Putoline semi synthetic. For Gearbox & Bevel box I've tried various including Halford's light. Now using Syntrax Universal, a part synthetic multigrade. Squeeze a bit of moly additive into the drive box. I've just checked a Castrol list and this what they recommend for V.11: Engine R4 SUPERBIKE 10W-50 Gearbox EPX 80W-90 Final Drive EPX 85W-140 80W-90 may replace 85W-140 in final drives but the latter grade is strongly preferred Alternative recommendation is MTX FULL SYNTHETIC Let Battle Commence

Hmmm. No idea. I'll need some time to think about that. Could it also be that the person could ask all day long yet all the answers could be incorrect?
