  1. They WERE a good option for families...prior to the Model T Ford JR – they're not waving at you... Yeah. Staedler.
  2. Yes you would. Yes you would. If we had said, sidecar combinations on Guzzis are fab and we all want one – then you would have condemned them as hideous abominations of the most unmotorcyclingest kind. I knew I'd get stick for that, but I used it as official MG terminology. The bikes are V.11 Sports. Fabulous. Supercars'R'Us I do cheap rates for Forum members. 50% discount if you go for both off.
  3. Hey fellow motorcyclists. This is the Moth Forum – it's for bugs and stuff, not for pop-combo chit-chat.
  4. of its oddness or strangeness" Usual info: year name displacement what other engine went in the frame?
  5. Not in my book there's not. Anyone who's got over 12 moths is alright in my book, so they are.
  6. The website says, "BFG has (financial) problems" I'm glad they made clear that it's just financial. BTW the naked version looks fab. Wouldn't mind driving to work on this, though I'd remove the front mudguard:
  7. Could you start a thread on this please? Summer's coming, with the odd bike trip, rally and so forth. Some of the chaps here aren't too organised, so any assistance is welcome. Much obliged.
  8. You blithering idiot you P.S.
  9. One glance is enough to tell that this is so wrong. This is what Urals are for, or BMWs or GoldWings or Jeeps or beach buggies or Mini Mokes or Morgans or Lotus Sevens or VW Trakkers or VW transporters or 1001 other things but not Moto Guzzi Sports bikes :!:
  10. It looks absolutely terrible. The horrid pressed-up sardine-can gives no pleasure whatsover, quite the opposite. Apart from that, it sounds like – nothing. And as well, the stock box and ecu provide a nasty hole in the motor's midrange. Did I mention that it looks horrible and sounds terrible?
  11. Today I deleted a post in this thread, so that it now looks like JRT is talking to Mr Marret Bartin instead of to me and that makes it look like MB takes tea in his coffee. Which he may well do.
  12. I guess that's another point to ChopperJim then. Bad luck, DL. Try hard and some day you too will get a point, like me.
  13. Oh man, Ben de Oik is nothing compared to Ben de Woman
  14. Where can the Quiz Rules be found?
  15. BFG I have heard of but who is the doctor ?
  16. Yeah... I never have any time
  17. It'll soon be the second birthday of this thread.
  18. Did you? Were there? I doubt it.
  19. I've just made a post in this thread.
  20. I've just made a post in another thread.
  21. I requested a number of parts under warranty, at the very beginning of November, just before my warranty was about to expire. They were for the problems I had with leaking bevel box seal, undersized back axle spacer and prematurely worn wheel bearings. – So, all very basic/common parts: seal, bearings and a couple of copper washers for the bevel box. The most esoteric part is the axle spacer tube. There is one part, that the Italians can't bear to release, still causing the hold-up. I don't know which one it is. Just reiterates that the Guzzi is a DIY bike – you wouldn't necessarily want to be relying on dealers/MG warranties to keep you on the road, unless you're lucky enough to be near an enthusiastic dealer/workshop. There don't seem to be many of us in that fortunate position. Hence the need for help through the forum and access to parts from outside 'the system'.
  22. Shock-horror! It can't be true! Faint - swoon.
  23. I went all the way to Kerry for this Quiz point! How hard does a fella have to work for these things?
