As the autumn progresses, numbers at the other important sites around all corners of the Irish coast from Strangford to Wexford, Tralee to Trawbrega gradually increase towards mid-winter. At some sites including the estuaries in Dublin, Wexford and Tralee, some thousands of HDGeese occur, sitting out the winter accumulating reserves for harder winter times and slowly preparing for the lengthening days of spring by which time things will have gone full-circle."
