  1. I remember back in the 70-80's if you pulled up behind a car ( just waiting to overtake ) all the kids in the back seat would be turned around to watch and wave at you till you shot past them. That don't happen anymore! Yeah, well before they all had electronic distractions! Cheers
  2. I also liked the R nine T racer and thought it was the only one of them I'd even consider, but I hear the riding possie is a killer and I have a dodgy neck! Hypothetical as not about to be replacing the V11 anyways... Cheers
  3. Yep, Perky's better....!
  4. Mate, it's 40 degrees today.... But I reckon I might just stay inside with the AC! Cheers Ps glad I'm workin from home and don't have to be out in it! Pps tomorrow it's supposed to be 20 ....good ole Victorian weather, don't like it, just give it a day or two!
  5. Ha ha Yep the pool and vino won out mate...... Cheers
  6. Jeezuz, glad I did my travelling in Europe before it became the mess it is now...!
  7. Bugger, first time I've had the time to watch it in ages and it's 30 degrees and hardly a breath of wind outside.... Do I shoot up to the lounge, fire up the tv and surround sound and put it on OR do I pour a nice glass of NZ Sauv Blanc and slip out to the pool for a dip....? I think I hear the vino and pool calling.....! Cheers Ps maybe I'll get to watch it in the hols which aren't far away.
  8. Yeah, the 120 degree triples do sound good.... So does my mates MV triple with an aftermarket pipe..... music! Cheers
  9. Bloody hell that must have been an eye opener for you.....! I don't get all this gangster/outlaw club caper as basically if you live by the sword you'll surely die by the sword! Some might last a little longer than others, but the sword will come for you! Must get round to watching this movie all the same as I've had the 4k bluray since it was released and haven't done so yet! Thanks for reminding me, now just need the time to watch it ha ha. Cheers
  10. Looks like it's only for the latest models....? Anyways I have my bike running pretty good these days so ain't about to add no jiggery pokery to it .....! Cheers Guzzler
  11. Yeah, it looks pretty standard to me too! I saw a couple of these when I was at the Boggy Creek* shindig a few years ago. Cheers * Laverda and Moto Guzzi clubs get together at the Curdievale ( Boggy Creek pub ) here in Victoria Oz.
  12. Yep Wolfgang Haerter in Nakusp Canada. Cheers
  13. I watch the Laverda forum here and Redax in Qld seems to be a pretty good source of Laverda expertise.... Cheers
  14. That's it in a nutshell....
  15. Heh he, I credit a CR125 motocrosser as being the bike that sorted me out..... Talk about a light switch, nothing till 7,500 then 20 hp all at once in 3000 rpm! Bloody thing only weighed a wee bit more than me at 80 something kilos too! Loved the thing! Cheers
  16. I can think of a few bikes I'd like as a second bike, but it'll never happen, so just me and the green one and I'm ok with that.... Cheers Ps I watched a review of a V35 Imola the other day and Father and son both loved it. You might be onto something Mick!
  17. Sell the Kawasaki.....
  18. Well done on the Coppa mate. I love the Pirelli Angel GT2 and am on my second set, doubt you'll be disappointed! Cheers
  19. Mate I too have driven round it and MY GOD you don't really get how steep and tight it is until you do. HUGE RESPECT for anybody who races ANYTHING at Bathurst. Cheers
  20. Matter o fact I have a Nescafe blend 43 in hand as we speak.... Don't mind a good espresso now and again but don't get too fired up about it all.
  21. Doc, a quid is slang for a pound in the UK.... I remember a pint of bitter could be had for less than one 40 or more years ago but reckon might be a bit more now! Cheers
  22. I'm leaning towards the relays too as had similar issue a while back. Starts fine runs for a bit then dies when given some throttle, hard to restart then runs for a bit longer.... I swapped relays round and cleaned / blew out any dust from the base and so far not happened since but of course now I've mentioned it.. Good luck with it mate.
  23. Gee maybe this is the start of this zombie apocalypse the morons keep bleating about.... They seem to have taken to the wheel already! Ps yeah no doubt it's worldwide and not just here.
  24. Mate, they are very very well made. They are also what they say WATERPROOF, only time I've had wet feet was when I had leathers tucked into the boots so the water ran down leathers and into the top of the boot. Put the wet weather pants over boots and no wet feet...simple. I've had mine for 8 years or so and still reckon they'll see me out..... Cheers
