  1. Yes it did Running like a champ. IDK how it ran ok for a few weeks when I first got it, but the lines were connected wrong by previous owner and I didn't have enough knowledge at time to see the problem right before my eyes.
  2. I ordered directly from Facility in France it was $470 shipped to US. They make a higher quality more expensive version but the basic shock works well for me.
  3. Update on shock and forks. I've never ridden Penske or the like, the only after market shock I've had is a Hyperpro. I believe the M Shock that I installed is equal to or better than the mid line Hyperpro that I had on the 1200 Sport. I had Guzzi Tech revalve and respring forks so motor bike definitely is much more comfortable and handles way better. If you are looking for reasonable suspension upgrades I can recommend both.
  4. search dpguzzi its a different brand but i am using them with no problems
  5. After fighting the voltage regulator, loose bullet connecter under tank and now this hopefully time to ride and put up the wrenches for a while.
  6. No wonder I have struggled since day one of getting this bike. There is no hose attached to the fuel pressure regulator never has been. The fuel over flow hose from tank was attached to the tee on the right side fuel injection. The parts diagram isn't much help in figuring this out. So my guess is there is supposed to be a hose from the back of the tee on the fuel injector to the regulator.
  7. I will take another look tomorrow I know the right nipple is strictly vent The left one I thought was over flow.... where is it supposed to connect Its the one fuel is coming out of
  8. Only put in about a gallon, removed hose from nipple beside it under tank to make sure that wasn't the problem
  9. It is being forced out of the nipple opening the one with tube that goes down to injectors. My understanding was this was an over flow drain but for some reason it is being pressurized I am baffled
  10. Had tank off working on electrical issues and replacing fuel pump.. Everything back together now and soon as I turn on key fuel pump initializes and fuel is coming out nipple under tank at high pressure even coming out around clamped tube. Left nipple as sitting on seat. Any ideas?
  11. Straight plug and play but I don't have enough miles to make a judgment on quality
  12. Lesson learned go to baseline before guess diagnosing. I was convinced the idle issue was related to the regulator or a fuel problem so after rechecking regulator connections and testing charging voltage I wasted $55 on a fuel pump and had same issue. I didn't want to set TPS cause I didn't want to spend $30 on a harness. I didn't want to balance throttle bodies because I didn't want to spend $100 on a synchronizer or build one. Bought testing gear and and set TPS to 157 and balanced throttle bodies and voila, idles perfectly. Fuel pump is money down the drain but I have the testing tools for later. I guess being stubborn and hard headed and a tightwad just doesn't pay in the end. Cant ride yet because forks are out for rebuild but hopefully case closed on this one.
  13. Make me a chin pad while you're going, mine doesn't look so good
  14. i need same rubber piece
  15. I have but will double check again in am. When the rpms are rising the throttle plates aren't moving. Seems the only variable is the regulator, I know the wires are connected to the right corresponding wire, but is it possible if one of the connections isn't perfect it could cause this? It idled fine when old regulator was connected and it wasn't working right??
  16. already have a line on both tank nipples, I'm grasping for straws cause this idle issue surely sounds like some type of vacuum/air issue
  17. Checked cable routing , intake rubbers, fuel filter installation. Petcock is flowing freely. I found this little fellow under the tank, it routes out to the bottom of sump. It seems to be a vacuum hose to something but would vent directly to the ground.
  18. Problem child back again. Installed the 525 and it is charging just fine. Now I have an erratic idle after putting it all back together. I did the valves and fuel filter and air filter while tank was off. Not that I would ever do this but would the fuel filter installed backwards cause this? It idles perfectly at 1200 for about 5 seconds then jumps to 2000 for a couple seconds then 3000 and I kill it. To make things even better my seat is stuck. I have read up on seat issue any ideas on idle issue? Hopefully my barn doesn't catch on fire tonight.
  19. Thanks for the tips
  20. Well why I am going I am considering send the Forks to Guzzi Tech, Todd does revalve and new springs, seals, fluid for a decent price. I have the fairing off for paint, how bad a job is it to remove and reinstall forks. I have removed rims for tire changes and can do basics even though it takes me forever. I have a good lift. And what in the world do you ship them in to get there in 1 piece.
  21. Regulator and valve cover gaskets are in so I will be putting it back together today hopefully No mechanical wizard I spend more time looking for bolts I've dropped that actually turning a wrench
  22. That I haven't figured out
  23. Well no ride report yet but it sure is purty This model has single adjustment for compr/rebound which is fine by me Straight from their facility in France < $500
  24. If any body is curious seat, side covers, tank, battery box, air cleaner box Update on the M Shock eventually
  25. Im assuming this is the culprit looking at regulator Where do I get a different brand replacement it is the old style
