    Pazzo Levers

I have just fitted some Pazzo yielding levers to my V11. These are not the same as the Pazzo levers for the Breva, Stelvio and Norge. I got them from www.speedycom.co.uk The lads there were helpful and asisted with fitting. Went for the red to match the foot rest hangers. If you decide to do this do take care not to loose the ball bearing that operates the brake switch.
  3. Sounds like I need to speak with Gustibits to see if they have a selector plate assemble I can fettle with.
  4. After a bit of a search, I have just got some Maxon Clip-on clamps. I have mounted them under the top yoke, as against the OE ones that clamp above the top yoke. The idea being I'll use the standard for road riding and just slide the tubes out and slot them in the low mounts for trackdays. The Maxon come standard with no anchor lock. They just work on friction. My OE ones are not adjustable at all. Would like to see a pick of the adjustment mechanism.
  5. OK, I m quite new to ths forum. I have had my V11 since 2004. I have had the spring go last summer and replaced it myself without assistance or manual and purely on the strength of a conversation in Spean Bridge circa 2005 (thank you Chris Jessop) when a fellow V11 rider had his go on route. I hope I have given an impression of someone with a bit of a clue without blowing my own trumpet, too much. My question is this. Has anyone tried anything different? Not a spring from a different supplied and in a different material that basically fits in the same place doing the same thing. Has anyone tried a completely different approach? If so, could someone point me the right direction regardless if it worked or not. I have an idea, but would like to see if has been tried before, before I blow some money on the selector plate assembly. Thanks for reading.
  6. My 03 V11 is still running the original battery. It is not the liveliest to spin over when cold, but no delay. However my XPA 750 can sometimes delays or even needs a heel punt on the starter solinoid. The battery is new on that and could turn the house over, so I am pretty sure it is the starter solinoid. If you engine spins over at a good rate, I'd be looking a your starter solinoid.
  7. I had this last summer too. Doddle to fix. One tip. Drain the gearbox first. http://www.motoguzziclub.co.uk/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=10991
  8. I have just got details of the BMW club trackdays at Snetterton in 2012. One in June and the other in August. Both are £120. E-mail me for application forms. I have done several of these on my V11 and enjoyed them all. Road bikes only.
