I think every winter I weigh what new bike I would want. Then after the first ride on the v11 I start looking for a low mileage Scura....

That was one of the things that was on the tank off list. It was weeping, so I pulled it, cleaned it, and put some hi temp silicone around the o ring and reinstalled it. I know they are fragile, and maybe a wire broke, but the test at the computer plug looks ok. 703 ohms instead of 680 sounds ok to me. Would checking the resistance of the coil tell you if the sensor is reading correct? Like if the gap is incorrect. I ask because I’m curious, not trying to be facetious. Also not trying to rhyme...

Have you done anything with the timing sensor? It’s easy to pull, maybe there is a bit of schumtz on it? Is it acting lean? Rich? Pull a plug after it dies and see what it tells you. I’ve got a couple TPS sensors I could send your way if you want to check that out.

I’d say any quality grease would be fine for the U-Joints. I don’t have experience with the Sig 3000 but it looks a bit overkill on the u-joints.

So that new KTM 790, I’m really digging it also, the Husqvarna vitpillien (sic?). When you own a big heavy stonkin Italian bike these lithe little machines seem more appealing.

Glad to hear as my third spring I just replaced showed signs of wear at the little tail end. New ScudChuckPhil pre-selector is ready for business! Only took two tries. Somehow I bumped the trans into first, I only found out after re-assembly. Should be good now. Bench tests seemed good.
