Seeing as how the bike is 15+years old by now is a zero mile bike a good deal? Would you start to worry about dry rotted seals/rubber parts? I’d rather have a well cared for machine personally... But, for the collector.

I have always just used the factory recommended BPR6ES plugs. Sorry I have no input on the first question.

Docc: part time moderator, part time chemist. I forgot about the silicon dioxide gas... I was just thinking that it’s (staburag grease) low fling, thin lube ability properties would make a good points lube.

If I asked the two-stroke guys about Staburaugs lube I probably wouldn’t get an answer. But seeing as I’m sure at least a few of us use the stuff on our splines I’m wondering if anybody would think a dab would be good for rubbing blocks on points? I’m being a cheap a**...

There are fuel resistant thread sealants. Check your local auto parts store.
