  1. Somebody's gotta do it. Poor guy. I think Scud gets top honors for best use of a spine frame! Awesome photos too.
  2. @Scud, been kicking around using one of these mounted to my Volvo http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B005XDM0XO?vs=1not sure if I'd ever use it much.... and the cost with a trailer bracket would be about the same as shipping. Don't know which would put my mind more at ease. The other option is to recruit somebody from where I'm headed (I got buddies near there) to do a tandem ride/drive. I'm on puppy hauling duty too. otherwise I appreciate the advice and I will be getting a couple of quotes from the mentioned brokers. Thanks for the input! This moving across country stuff was much easier when it was just me and a bike...
  3. Be careful with the aluminum spacer(s)! Mine needed a gasket sealer before it stopped weeping.
  4. Anybody have any experience shipping bikes in the states? Any outfits to recommend? Is there a way to ship without bottoming the suspension for a week? Moving back to the Midwest (WI) from FL.
  5. If you give me some time Docc I might be able to do something like that. I've done a good amount of fiddling with guzzidiag. No expert but with a correct setup I can walk through it.
  6. @JB they are on the screw itself, just remember they are dealing with some serious heat there. @danl kinda what I was thinking, just thought I'd see if someone had done the leg work already.
  7. Country style (not) ribs, the best cut of pork for the buck there is. Fatty meaty delicious!
  8. Yeah, they are a little flat, supple but flat and I am a little OCD about cleaning the TBs every other oil change or so. I'd imagine that carb cleaner doesn't help 15 year old o-rings.
  9. Has anyone ever sourced the little o-rings that help seal up the air bypass screws on the throttle bodies? Just did a little tune up and at one turn out I'm not at nearly a steady idle I had before.
  10. There is one somewhere in my garage.... If the cockroaches didn't take it!. Sorry dude I'm worthless on this one
  11. Where's Luhbo been? Doesn't he have like 4 v11s?.... I miss his wit, "next time the Internet might not save you" in reference to my combustible wiring harness. Cracks me up every time.
  12. clearly there is is a disdain for symmetry in your family. I've seen your son's foot peg arrangement, now I see your single saddlebag!... Ha! Glad the trip went well!

Isn't the left one normally more pink
  14. Plug guards?.. Any way that bike is happy you found it. Looks awesome.
  15. I would love to give your map a try. billjaszczak@gmail.com I was running the Titanium map, now running a lightly modified stock map.
  16. Sorry dude I have no experience removing the swing arm. Seems relatively straightforward.
  17. Here is a guy who makes twin plate lightening kits. http://www.guzzipower.com/store/Flywheellightening.html
  18. if you ever get guzzidiag up and running I can send you some maps and you can compare to yours. Then we can eliminate mapping as the issue.
  19. Damn, I was hoping for a magic cure-all.... Jk. My technique is much less refined.
  20. if it makes you feel any better mine has been making a similar sound for a couple of years and many miles. Like you said performance is good, amp draw for me is normal. Just another sound for the Honda guys to look at me weird!
  21. The Red and Gray ones are the slowest you know... Welcome!
  22. Really like the Cafe's without the fairing. Any pinging on this one? Still running that map you sent me BTW
  23. Always appreciate your insight Meinolf!.. What needs to be done for more open pipes? And what increments do you recommend adjusting fueling in Tunerpro i.e. 5-10? 5-10 what I have no idea.
  24. 1. A small flat screwdriver should do it. 2. Never done it on this bike, but resist over tightening the clamps. 3. Not a bad idea! Ask JRD how much gunk can reside in there.
