  1. The P-51 also has a tendency to pull to the right, on account of its in-line crank.... So I've been told. Plus I know I've scared a few Japanese bikes away with my clutch and valve clatter! Was mostly over the gulf not the pacific but... Okay back to the pics.
  2. It is a well known fact that Guzzi uses some of the hardest Parmesan cheese known to man to make their bolts. I think I have broke at least two. I always replace with a non Guzzi bolt if I haven't already. Beware of tapping because those castings are extremely soft use lots of oil. For me all bolts get either anti-seize or loc-tite, Luigi on the other hand didn't seem to think so.
  3. The v11 is probably going to make the least outright power of the bikes you listed. It does have gobs of usable power and probably more than anyone would ever need. The BMW to me was porky and boring the suzuk TL has the most abrupt throttle of any bike I've ridden (never ridden an sv 1000 but heard good things) I've ridden a few Duc monster variants and like them but there is something special to me about the V11 series.... Obviously
  4. Scared me for a second Ken. Congrats on the Cafe
  5. Yes Docc, the CO is changed in guzzidiag. The map is altered through a bin file uploaded into the TunerPro program.
  6. I was missing Chamberlin's v11 listings! Thanks dude. Still no apparent rhyme or reason what price these bikes get listed at.
  7. Harpers has a pretty sweet home made shift lever. Bout the same price as Guzzis. Shouldn't have to remove anything but the linkage.
  8. Have you bled the clutch recently? if not now is your opportunity! Pretty easy if you have the back wheel off.
  9. Nice job Scud. That was a brave job to cut down those titanium pipes by the PO. They look good though.
  10. JRD- nah, too good looking.
  11. Thanks again to Docc for getting us together!
  12. Had an awesome time! Weather was perfect, bikes behaved and nobody got blown off the skyway bridge! Really cool meeting you guys.
  13. Scud, the hardest working man on V11Lemans.com! Keep it up buddy!
  14. As a new parent I will certainly be looking forward to this! Bike is pulling hard and ready to roll!
  15. The second LeMans looks cool with no side covers.
  16. I know that peninsula on the screen there.
  17. You're a stronger man than I am. I have plenty of friends with no future in Mpls. to visit the ex bf.... If need be. Seriously though dad of the year for sure!
  18. When I straightened my bent bar I ended up with a gashed up poc marked slightly less bent piece....one day I'll learn some patience
  19. Moto international has them for relatively cheap. In the process of repairing mine too.
  20. Sooo glad I can't produce milk! I would get even less wrenching done, between staring at my little girl. Thanks guys!
  21. Haha! I read the title and thought man another forum member needs a sidecar. Yeah we're all doing good, I am also on the lookout for a pink leather track suit. Whe she's ready of course. Thanks guys!
  22. As far as the brakes go cleaning the often times neglected pistons and making sure they work equally helps.
  23. Is that new member JRD or the like? Supposed to help him sort his Lemans tomorrow, I was going to pass on the info.
  24. I dropped my 02 Lemans' forks about 7mm through the yokes. Doesn't stand up in the corners as much. Never had a problem transitioning, they do take a wee bit of elbow grease to persuade. All part of the charm!
