  1. I discover something, when you have something, you didn’t realize how much you care about it. When something has gone you miss it like light in the eyes. Since my V11 has gone I do miss it a lot. The engine power of that bike was amazing. Possible I will get the power of the 1200sport at the level of the V11 but it will me cost a lot of time and money. Besides the Ohlins quality is also high and I do miss it in my new bike. You get to do what you get to do, and I think by you it’s a luxe problem. But the power and the brutality of the v11 is unique! Do not annoy me with Griso, Stelvio, 1200sport, etc. my opinion the V11 best bike of Moto Guzzi so far!!!
  2. Hydraulic valve Get sure they have made a job at the bike.
  3. Dunno Greg. I doubt it. I have got 50k miles with the pods of K&N and never have had the idea dirt or whatever gets into the cylinders. Good maintenance will help. I have the strong idea to fix this filters in my new 1200sport too. I am not such brave person
  4. Does anyone have the "Daytona Bandit"?
  5. It's about time to begin a new topic over tyre, isn't?
  6. What can I say, with open filter can the motorcycle better breath. So it suppose to get at the desired torque so fast possible. Do not know if you get higher torque, but you get it very fast. Full throttle or not the response is immediate. Better torque or higher torque you can choose for another camshaft. Like Millepercento has. I will highly recommend you the OSS camshaft.
  7. Please explane your statement fotoguzzi!!!
  8. Me too. We have a car but my wife rides in that thing. I always have to arrange myself with the bike. Even now in the winter. I do also work with the bike. So I use it almost every day.... And wash it avery day... ('coz the salt) welcome on board!
  9. New never used. Compression 11:1. Don't need to replace the valve. Pistons are also for the California models. 200,- Euro Shipping included in Europe. Over sea 20,- Euro shipping costs.
  10. Yeah, English tundra, you Guy are fricking crazy! Grown up!
  11. Yeah, black is fine. Now the black version of cafe racer please. Never mind about Paul comments over proportion and stuff, he's just jalous he couldn't desin it by him self.
  12. locky.....lock.....locked..... got the link?
  13. Docc, that manicotti, that's real Italian food. Very old tradition. Older than spaghetti and pizza! You mention it in another thread, but I would say it here, I am proud your woman makes it. But, as far as I know there is no relation between manicotti and turkey.
  14. There is always a link with Europe and ..............turkey
  15. First thanksgiving in America has been in 1621. Celebration of a rich harvest. That's not political but a religion event. Do not sure where this event comes from, perhaps from Europe, but….
  16. I am pretty happy about the mirrors of my bike. So far the best mirrors I have had on a bike.
  17. David, you may add Italy too. www.guzzisti.it the Italian site of Moto Guzzi http://www.animaguzzista.com/forum/phpBB2/...pic.php?t=33235
  18. It could be also the chain of the camshaft. It sounds like pinking but it's not. If you have adjusted the valves, maybe you can do this one more time and give it another value. To run the bike richer you have to remap the ECU. Otherwise to be honest I do not understand the question.
  19. Yep, me too. And Calias-Dover isn't that expensive. About 75,- Euro. About Hoek van Holland -Harwich 165,- Euro Say Guy, your offer's still available?
  20. Just have made a research about the prices for ferry from France to Ireland and from Holland to England and from England to Ireland. France –> Ireland costs about 400,- Euro. Travel time about 10hours. Holland –> England –> Ireland about 350,- each (350 x 2 = 700,- Euro) Is there in England a cheaper travel manner to get in Ireland? (… don't be smart with saying swimming)
  21. David, it looks fine, just don't make a reservation like Chris did. Get there and have a look, everywhere. It doesn't matter where. Realize that people are coming from very far and they depend from the guy who is organizing it. Good job anyway David. Keep going this way!
  22. Maybe an idea to the moderators/administrators. I would like to know why a topic has been locked. Just put down the reason to the other forum users. The forum is a place to read or say something. Would be grateful to know why someone does something. In the most of the locked threads is a reason mentioned, but not always. In 6 year or something like this I never have had the idea the administrator/moderator has locked a topic in a wrong way or wrong decision. But like a verdict of a judge, the topic will be closed because…
  23. Yeah, me too Guy. What about sanitair? There is no privacy at all, expecially for the ladies. I cannot find the place on maps.google
