  1. Ain't they cute?
  2. Yes, but only ride one at the time
  3. Yep! Time to do that!
  4. This topic is all about the temporary closure of the factory for the winter. Moto Guzzi has had a bad year. They sold a few motorcycle and now is better to close the factory and the employees have get paid with some money of the state. Dunno of their intention is to move to somewhere. Piaggio did rescue the factory so far and I am happy about this financial coup. Last time was Aprilia with the big boss Beggio and now is the boss of the Piaggio concern a guy who is from a big truck factory (well know in Europe) the IVECO company. Mandello del Lario belongs to Moto Guzzi and vice versa. I recognize they might need a better place, building, tools, etc. but the charm of the place at the lake is unique.
  5. Plaese, should be possible having the exact date and place of this meeting 2009? I would not know yet, but there is a little chance I shall show up in Ireland. 22-25 may 2009? Place? Camping? Room? ....?
  6. Héy, I know the guy seating on the bench, wearing a light shirt.
  7. Paul you should know better. Two Italian months aren't really two months, but a little bit some more... About a order, the parts aren't coming from the main factory, but in fact they do. Got that?
  8. I would like to know how easy is the maintenance of this bike? Are you proper to do it by yourself?
  9. The factory will be closed for restructuring. This will happened in the winter 2008/2009. The plan is to be closed for about two month, but it could be more than only two month. It will be better to order pieces from another source. In Italy the winter begins in October and ends in April.
  10. ..easy guys. It's not ugly, but useless. 1200sport has 105 HP with an 8v engine. Stelvio's engine has 110 HP. Still get it?
  11. Of the records guys, but in Amsterdam we have one of the greatest mecanic in Europe. His name: Feiko de Boer. http://www.motortoer.com/magazine.html#feikodeboer Sorry for the link Jaap, but I know the guy and he deserve it! Congratulation Feiko!!!

  16. Say Mike, have you sold your bike yet?
  17. Okay, I don't understand this subtile sense of communication. Is this a subforum of "Hooters"?
  18. I thought Bill Hagan is a lawyer.
  19. You mess that up Michael. I don't want to be part of this thread anymore. I think you get us buzy here and maybe is there nothing wrong with your Guzzi. What about that, hé?
  20. Dunno you, but the starter of the V11 is the same as the starter in the FIAT cars. You can try some second hands. Second hands here would be not more than 50,- Euro. The Valeo in the V11 you can find in the fiat UNO, PANDA, PUNTO, etc. But, that's Europe
  21. one of this will help.
  22. Well said RAZ! I would add that valves checking it's a Great therapy.
  23. Don't think is the starter. Have you thought at the regulator? Ones I have bought a regulator in the USA for less of money. I think no more than 100 USD. (sorry but for us European is American market now very cheap he-he-he...) Don't go on at that way with the V11, you might f u c k up more things in the electrical system at this way.
