  1. I'll answer you. I still have the original ones, and I am pretty happy about them. Could you put a pic, just for the policy?
  2. I don’t want to hear no more story about hitting animals on the road. No more hitting deer, weasels, marmots, polar bears, yeti or what ever! I am on vacation at that time and I want and demand to have a problem less weekend in Scotland and not to hit nothing on the roads over there. My wife is not reading this, (thanx God) and I have no intention to tell her about meeting beasts on the road. I start to believe you guys are just making a complot to us people from the continent to come in the UK and stay brave. But héy, I have Mistral….
  3. Last weekend I have done a service at my own bike. I have changed the oil in all the possible thinking places. The engine have got the Mobil 1 5W50 100% synthetic. The oilfilter will be the good old one UFI. The gear oil is a new one. Lucas 85/140. Here we go. I have opted for this oil thanx the tip of Agostini’s chef de garage. In the differential I have put the same oil as the gear, but that wasn’t a good idea, because this oil is very thick and if not warm enough it will make a lot of foam. The disadvantage of this foam is that it will go out through the pressure valve and go on the rubber. It was very scary to discover this. I have token the thick oil out and put the regular one, 75/90. Problem solved! Someone Have used this thick oil before me?
  4. OMG It was a weasel! :!: ...another piece of history has gone.....
  5. Is there another website than BBC to check the weather in the UK or better in Scotland? And maybe to check the weather forward than one day? 3 days? 5 days? ....?
  6. There is only one and the real ONE "dike-jumper" and that's Jaap!
  7. I am not American, so I must go google to know that...
  8. I've heard this supermotard will be in production soon...
  9. We shall forgiven you Chris. BTW, I hope food and beer would be not expensive at that Aultguish Inn... For us only 10 days to go
  10. This is not the first time some member of the forum have put his lost here on the forum before you. I have lost my friend too. It’s now a couple of years ago, but I exactly can imagine how do you feel with your lost. Don't be sorry to put here your feeling. Condolences.
  11. I just did it a couple of months ago with Jaap, 2 in , 2.2 out...... Yesterday I was talking about valve at the Moto Guzzi dealer in Amsterdam, he said, 2 in and 2 out. Well, I dunno anymore
  12. I think is f: when they finally move their ass!
  13. Martin, You should know better, Jaap is not the kind of a guy who loves long distance on highway. His bike does not even have any protection to travel that distance. He loves (he must) travel on secondary roads. So I think he is meaning a road from Newcastle to Edinburgh as an alternative route. I do not think he has any hurry at all
  14. About the new models of Moto Guzzi, rumor: the 1200 sport will be coming with a 8v engine...
  15. I don’t know how do I have to interpreted it, poetic or philosophic?
  16. I dunno what it is, but Aussie-with-Ducati is the perfect match
  17. I already have been in Paris. But after this video, you don't need to be there. You have seen everything, except Montmartre, But this is too high situated for this kind of a car. BTW, another car video. I thought only afro-americans guys use the cars to pimp up the videoclips...
  18. Insanity?! What's this all about? Riding in a city is this behaviour logic. Nothing wrong to me. BTW, in the begin he could not catch that girl on the scooter…
  19. I will take the photo camera with me this time. Last time was Jaap the guy with the camera, but he wouldn't post any pic. He said there was no pic decent to be post. Especially pictures with Jaap on it were not good enough to be showed. Kind of mystic, isn't it?
  20. I will quote, don't forget this weasel. I hope the Scottish size is not that big as they are in Norway
  21. Sunday 22 april 2007 8:00-18:00 Place: Jarmuiden in Amsterdam West, The Netherlands Lots of Italian stuff...
  22. Jee, I never know that The Englishman over sea has the name of "English expatriates" Does they ever have been repatriates?
  23. My boat is Wednesday evening. I will hit GB (Newcastle) in the morning of Thursday. From Newcastle to Altguish Inn in one rush, yes. Okay, we will stop for gasoline, and eat/drink something but I will get there in the evening. I think from Newcastle until Glasgow non stop full throttle. From there we'll take it easy and ride as a couple of tourists.
  24. Richard, No, you did not do nothing wrong, I really appreciate your devotion and professional tribute to rebuild or restaurate your Bike. Only this is not appropriate for me to see how good and how great result all this work is getting through for the restoration for a Jappo bike in a Very Italian forum. Be my guest to post your own inspiration and end result but do not get mad if somebody on the forum does have comments on it. It’s all in the game. Friendly greetings, Antonio
