  1. Buy every wheel you want but DON'T BUY MAGNESIUM WHEELS ! ! ! ! ! ! Danger for breaking down or ripping and possibility for crumbling too. Do not buy it anyway, exept if you want to race on a track like Lagunaseca.
  2. GuzzTim, what a kind of battery did you buy? The original one or a similar? I am looking around for a similar, because the original one costs 151 Euro.
  3. Thanx bud...
  4. What I know, the factory MUST deliver pieces to repair the bikes in circulation all over the world. They just shut them factory down and that’s meaning no more production. No more man at work. I am sorry for them family. BTW, if you change the cable; you have to change all of it. Not only the iron cable but also the plastic cable around him. Is not another Guzzi dealer in your area? Ask him (your dealer) if it can ordered by Agostini from Mandello?
  5. Sorry man, I do not have the bike with me, because she is now not healthy. Otherwise I could make a pic to illustrate you the sensors I mean. Take off the seat; you are now looking at the sub frame of your bike. On the right side, the break side of your bike, you will see a couple of little black boxes, 5 or 6. I think they are now Bosch, is you will change one of these, try to buy some Siemens. I think is the first one in the line of queue. Good luck!
  6. Check also the sensors under your seat.
  7. Goran, do you need a camshaft?
  8. I do not have that damn think. Tomorrow is Sunday and at Monday I shall ask a colleague if he will help me to measure the voltage with his multimeter. Its kind of difficult, because the bike is not running no more. Damned, I am pissed off!!!
  9. ...well, did it charge the battery???
  10. Did you also take a look at the dynamo? Did this think charge your battery?
  11. ...and original parts from Mandello del Lario, just say, mother Guzzi. Those pieces are even important as the whole bike self. I am the first guilty, because I did not buy a set of original mufflers, but the splendid sound given "Mistral".....yep, that's me.
  12. Sad but true, my battery has died this morning. Yesterday it was alive but this morning the tragedy….dead! Well I was at some battery gooroo yesterday and we measure the battery. It was indeed less than 13.5 V. It was around 12 – 12.3 V. This guy said to me maybe the main problem is the dynamo. But it could be also the end of the battery. Well, my next step, I’ll buy a new battery and a battery charger. I have spoken with somebody who has battery with gel. I've heard around that this kind of battery is the best. We’ll see. Damn….I am walking again. MERDA! Thanks you all.
  13. Somebody else who knows where can I get a new battery? In Holland, Germany, Europe? Somebody knows some site to looking at? I start thinking my battery is dieing. Thanx all
  14. Al, looks like you have a concurrent. This Juha talks like he knows what he is talking about…. This is gonna be a long winter with a lot of technical speeches. I hope al this makes sense
  15. Paul, I always try to follow my principles and one of these is that I do not ever try to learn Deutsch. The only word I know is harsloch and that’s it! Sorry Paul, I do respect your capacity to speak and understand that language. I do speak English, how bad that is, but I do try and I do my best in it. Back to Moto Guzzi: Indeed there is some speculation about the turn off of the machines in Mandello del Lario. The base of this speculation is that Moto Guzzi spa does not have any capacity to keep the factory working for 100%. The sale of accessories and pieces for Moto Guzzi makes none progression and the sale of new models neither. So Moto Guzzi thinks, “we are shutting our factory down and all the Guzzisti in the whole world can get the curls”. I aspect some concrete info from Mandello. While I get this info I will back to you. BTW, the statement of Enrico is a little bit a drama. I don’t believe everything he said. Not. Some info are maybe tru... groetjes
  16. Paul, this is not official yet. Wait before saying this. Ciao

  19. Alright Lex, take it easy. I said this because it is what I heard from other and what I read on magazine and stuff. I do not have any personal experience with that kind of tyre. Capisc? Did you know about the new Dunlop tyre???
  20. I am surprised what you just wrote. I do know nobody who is riding on Dunlop on his V11.This tyre does not mach with the V11. But, if you’re riding on it,…well….?!?
